Jeremiah told his little brother. "Come on boys. It's time to eat." I said from behind them. I could tell I had caught them off guard because they jumped a little. "Mom, I'm not ready to eat." Said Junior. "We should've went somewhere else. This place for babies." Then he looked at Jeremiah. "You just mad that i keep beating you." Jeremiah bragged. "Let's eat. So we can go." As we waiting on the waitress to bring our pizza and wings, I watch my boys talk about the latest basketball game with Micheal. It turns out that they all was Lebron James fan. I kept smiling throughout the meal. Looks like he had won the kids over all in one day.

*Meadow* He released a breath I never noticed he was holding; he laid on the blanket and looked up to the sky. "Sometimes I feel like I am not worth it. Like any moment you will tell me you had enough and you are tired of trying... I struggle thinking I might be pushing you too much or not giving you enough space. I guess, deep down inside, I am still more human than I want to admit," He closed his eyes and I felt a different connection growing between us, one that it was likely to pull us closer.

Sighing over the internal battle within my head, I look at Carter pleadingly “Ok I know this will be a lot to take in, but please just hear me out before you form an opinion,” I state to Carter. He looks up with a puzzled look on his face as I begin to tell him what has just happened. I know I am talking fast but I feel if I don’t blurt it all out at once, I myself will begin to doubt it more than I already do. Sitting down hard, Carter let’s out a loud whistle and runs his hands through his hair.

What the hell? "Ma'am, where to?" her driver, Kuya Atong, asked. Taphney immediately rolled her eyes. Couldn't the old man see that she was annoyed? That she was about to burst into flames because of her anger? "Where else? I'm going home. I'm fucking sick of seeing this dirty mall. What's the point of their mall if they can't even read Daddy's black card? A ridiculous mall! Eww."

Confused, I asked, "Go where? I don't understand why you're reacting this way." Jared hesitated for a moment before replying, "That four-letter word is not something I'm comfortable discussing." His words only piqued my curiosity further. "Why? What's wrong with love? It's a universal concept that everyone can relate to." He shook his head adamantly, his expression reflecting his disbelief. "It's not real... and I don't see the point in discussing something I don't believe in," Jared insisted. I furrowed my brow, trying to make sense of his stance.

She confirmed still not digesting the fact that it was indeed true. "Only You."

“Girl, you’ve been through a lot.” Candice slurped her ramen noisily, twirling the noodles around her chopsticks with practiced ease. Beside her sat a can of flat Diet Coke just the way she liked it. Don’t ask me why. She’s just weird like that. I sighed, rubbing my temples. “I don’t even know what to say, Candice. The whole thing is just so… bizarre.” Leaning in, I tugged her ear playfully. “Promise me you won’t tell anyone about this, okay? Just between us.”
