His father had given him spending money every month, but he burned through it so fast he never had anything left. "I don't have any money," I said flatly. There was no way I'd play the sucker again.

Ashton responded, not really knowing how to describe the situation he was in. "You are sick?" Came Adrian's question. "No, I'm not sick. That's the problem. I'm not sick but I still don't feel so good!" Ashton was getting frustrated with everything happening. He didn't know what would bring peace to him. He thought talking to Adrian would help, but he couldn't even explain the feeling he was going through at hand. That was because he himself didn't know what to name that feeling. "Talk clearly. What's wrong?" Adrian asked solemnly.

I clicked on the file and began to work with determination. Suddenly, my hand was in a vice grip. "J-just stop for a second." Shane could not handle it anymore. "Mr. Lawson, what's wrong? I'm really focusing on my work now. You're messing up my flow." The mouse accidentally slipped to the menu bar. Shane collapsed into his chair. "Please, no." I glanced at the mouse. "Mr. Lawson, if I don't finish these files, I'll have to work late tonight."

Leo froze as soon as the words left my mouth. He was stunned to his core. After all these years, that must’ve been the fiercest comeback I’d ever dared to throw at him.
