I felt a sharp pain after he slapped me.
He cackled sadistically, “You’re all bark, but you can’t bite.”
The grin on my face didn’t fade, “Are you talking about yourself? You’re lucky you saw me in this state, or I would have already turned all of you into ashes.” I looked at him from head to foot, “I bet I could still beat you if you’re alone. You coward blood-sucking freak!”
Another slap. I tasted blood in my mouth. My lip and cheek had a cut, and it wasn’t healing like it was supposed to.
