Novel & Cerita Kai Razor Blades

The very flora seemed to respond to her call, twisting and coiling to create barriers and traps that hindered the enemy's movements. Kael's blade glowed with an ethereal light as he channeled his newfound energy. With each swing, he carved through the opposition with unrivaled precision, leaving trails of radiant energy in his wake. His strikes were a dance of calculated finesse, cutting through enemy lines and inspiring awe in both allies and enemies alike.

That was not going to cut it. Machetes, razor sharp with chromed steel blades, cut it. Before the bullshit got too deep I gave the word. Cosmo and I pulled our machetes - we each had two - from the 'handles down' sheaths strapped to our backs under our windbreakers. Live steel, changed the mood real fast, it cut through the drugs for two of the Kings. Machetes mess with the mind; maybe it was a racial memory thing but the tall Black King actually shit himself when we showed the 4 steel blades that would free him from all pain.

I leaned back against my seat, "It's not easy to take down two powerful men at a go all by yourself." "This person came prepared Orian." Nexus leaned over, "And this person is powerful. A murder carried out with a 3-bladed knife, you know what that means." What it meant was that even I was a suspect as well as Nexus and all the high-ranking officials not excluding members of the council. Three blades knife is meant to destroy and cause serious damage, a weapon only possessed by people like us and they were to be used only in the case of war.

The obsidian blade goes through the grey Harvester’s plate as though the plate is warm wax, and the cut does not slow at the armor the way every law of the physical world says it should, because the engine is at full and full means the blade carries my entire frequency into the steel ahead of the edge, and the steel forgets, for one impossible instant, how to be solid.

"Let's see if you can escape from me," Brett asked while looking around him. There are eight small blades in his hands. He considers these as his new favorite toys since he bought them from an auction in New York. The eight blades are made from high qualiy stone and they are worth million dollars. Brett only brought these treasures because he wanted to show these off to Adam and Chandler later. But it seems he'll use them as his weapon this time.

‎ ‎A petal snapped outward—unsheathing a small, glistening blade. ‎ ‎Castelle gasped, her eyes widening. “It’s a knife?” ‎ ‎Kane held it delicately between his fingers, the gleam of the steel catching the light. “A stiletto blade. Balanced. Razor-sharp. Easy to hide.” ‎ ‎He pressed it back into its sheath, returning it to her hair with gentle fingers. ‎ ‎“Why?” she asked, breathless. “Why would you give me something like this?” ‎ ‎“Because, Castelle…” His eyes darkened as he cupped her cheek. “I won’t always be in the room. And if someone ever tries to hurt you, you won’t beg for help. You’ll bleed them.”

I whispered. Kael hugged me tightly. "You'll never have to again," he promised. Tracing patterns in the new hair on Kael's chest and stomach, I couldn't help but smile as I "erased" them and started again. His laugh vibrated through his body as he pulled the blanket over our heads to watch me. "I'll get it all shaved off soon," he said. "I don't know, I kinda like it," I replied with a grin. He snorted. "Well, tell one of the other two because I've been dreaming of a razor since I saw the one in Teddy's shower."

The anger, the regret, the anxiety, the emotional and mental tiredness. I kept the water running and then searched the bathroom for something to use as a weapon. I needed something that would weaken him immediately, because trust me, I did not know how to fight or could even defend myself well. Then my eyes landed on the small knife that men normally use for shaving. I think it’s called a straight razor or a cut-throat razor. The only reason I even knew the name was because of Chris. It was perfect. I knew for a fact that it was very sharp and every time that Chris would use it to shave, I would have so much anxiety.

Its exposed flesh was dry, cracked, dusted with spiral glyphs too faint to read. I stopped. Lira didn’t. But she paused after a few more paces—enough that I knew she was listening. I lowered to one knee by the trunk. Pulled a blade from my belt. Not my hunting knife. The old one. Bone-handled. The same one I’d used when I earned my first rite. The same one Rheia had cut her palm with the night we promised not to need fate. I hadn’t touched it since. I carved my name slow. Deep. K A E L.

The blunt end of my blade connects with his ribs and he lets out a grunt, retreating. Kai steps out from behind a tree, clapping slowly. “Not bad.” I pant, lowering my weapons for a second. “You coming too?” He nods, expression softening. “You ready?” “No.” He laughs. “Honest. I like that.” And then he’s on me. Kai fights differently - more calculated, almost… gentle. He doesn’t go for the kill, he tests me with every move. Parry. Twist. Sidestep. His strikes are near misses, always giving me a window to respond.
