She looked at him in confusion as he carried her out her room, not sure where they were going, but as he carried her up the stairs to the seventh floor she knew they would be going to his room. When the doors opened, Liam stepped into a sprawling, minimalist paradise, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the glittering city, black marble floors, and the faint scent of sandalwood and power. He wandered deeper, past a massive living room with a single leather couch that probably cost more than his entire apartment. A half-empty glass of amber liquid sat on the kitchen island. The suite they led her to was obscene. That was the only word for it. Obscene in its size, its luxury, its suffocating perfection. The main chamber was larger than her entire room back in Silvara, with windows that overlooked the city and furnished with pieces that probably cost more than some people's houses. Deep carpet cushioned every step. Tapestries depicting Camelot's glorious history covered the walls. A massive bed dominated one side, draped in silk and piled with more pillows than any human could possibly need.

When one of the four women revealed what's behind a huge curtain, a bigger pond showed itself in front of me. “Don't tell me that I need to take a bath?” I thought they're the type of creatures who isn't fond of taking a bath. What's this? They even have their own fancy bathhouse. Do I smell bad? Eh?

I jump at the chance for a shower and to get away from him, moving as quickly as I can for the bathroom. Stepping inside, I lock the door, worried he may join me, and look on in awe at the extravagance of the room. The shower is massive, with four heads and two benches, and the floors look clean enough to eat off of.
