Kyra’s voice echoed, but I didn’t see her. It was difficult to pinpoint the direction of her voice, so I walked mindlessly through the darkness. When I heard Artemis’s voice, it didn’t echo as Kyra’s had. Following Artemis’s voice, I finally came across Kyra. She was dressed in a beautiful white gown, which flowed around her. “It is a realm between realms, known as the Abyss.” Artemis answered. “Why am I here?” Kyra asked. “Because this was the only way I could talk to you without anyone interfering. Do you really think I am stupid enough to come near you and those around you?”

They would have to find an entirely different apartment, purchased furniture once again, even find a new school to enrol—he was scheduled to start in two days. "Who the hell is this?" he asked Damir internally. "That's Morgana, a high-ranking demon from the Abyss," Damir replied. A beat of silence. "This Abyss," Asher said, his tone shifting. "Where exactly is it?"

Her body hovered off the ground, the crown embedding itself deeper into her skull, blood running like molten fire down her temples. The tether split sparks across the abyss, binding Adrien to her. Zayn’s flames arched, trying to restrain the shadows. And then. Her voice shifted, Not hers, A chorus. “I am not Sera. I am the abyss made flesh. I am the crown’s heir. Kneel.” Her eyes burned void-black. And the abyss obeyed. Every monster, every shadow, every twisted creature bent to the ground, groveling. The ground itself quaked as if in worship.

Anyway, he had never thought about a smooth sailing. The crowd was frantic, and I soon found Beta Gideon, along with my mother and Leona ushering people away in the opposite direction than the warriors had gone.
