Aleister POV As if I was floating, I watched the coolest looking black wolf running. Every time the light caught it, grey and silver shinned brightly. He’s the fastest wolf I’ve ever seen. The blade passed through the wolf’s neck like cutting smoke. No resistance. No blood. The wolf didn’t even slow down. It leaped. Kaden caught it mid-air, his hands grabbing fur that felt like cold ash. They went down together, rolling across the dirt. The wolf’s jaws snapped at his face, those empty eyes inches from his own.
