A complete makeup kit rose, and several robotic hands descended, holding brushes, combs, foundation, palettes, gloss. The movements were fast but gentle, expertly coordinated. I want them to look natural and effortless. As I move on to my makeup, my hands start to shake with nerves. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, but I want to look my best for Keenan. I put my car keys down and walk to my closet pulling out my outfit for tonight it was a lace white bodysuit with white pants and nude stilettos. I pull it out setting the outfit on the bed and heading over to my vanity where nova currently is. I pull out one of my James Charles X Morphe palette doing a smoky eye with black from that palette and I use a shimmery silver from my Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette. After I'm done I do a matte red liquid lip

“I wouldn’t expect anything less.” The makeup process is quick and efficient. Zoe keeps it simple—soft blush, a touch of highlighter, and a nude lipstick that enhances my natural features. When she’s done, I stare at my reflection, hardly recognising the radiant woman staring back. “It’s perfect,” I whisper, touching my cheek lightly.
