Joan's POV： I didn't want to give a shit on Fletcher's current situation, because he was an absolute stranger to me. However, I didn't have a proper chance to tell him about my plan. Recently, I noticed that he seemed to have many appointments because he went out very often. Most importantly, no matter how late he went back, Karen's perfume would always wrap around him, which was hard to ignore. It was the Dior perfume named Venus of Goddess, which was the graduation gift I prepared for her, so I knew very well the smell of that perfume.

She was interested in his course, chemistry and how it related to the promise of enhancing perfumes. He asked her what she placed in her perfume that made it seem so simple and yet complex as though it were organic. “…and familiar?” she asked her eyes now transfixed to his. She removed his glasses and reached out to kiss him on the lips. “…familiar?”. She repeated and he could scent the Neroli so near now he was actually breathing it. “Yes.” He could only reply.

Out of all these scents, Larissa easily discerned the smell of the perfume that had been on Kevan—the exact same scent. The source came from the female employee closest to her. I thought I looked almost like a vampire. . After taking care of my skin, I decided to put on some gel on to set my hair. I certainly did not want some gust of wind, or whatever, wrecking my hairstyle. I combed it the way I have always did everyday. I also put my personal favorite perfume, which I bought in Italy, on my neck and both my wrists. The brand was written on the perfume bottle, on it was written "Aurmany". The aroma has a very strong tinge of wood. It has the main accords of mostly amber and vanilla, as well. The ingredients consist of cardamom in the top notes, lavender and orange blossom in the middle notes, and lastly amber and leather as the base notes.

He whispers right in her ear, so no one else could hear. “I can’t wait to try this out with you later.” She nods, and chuckles. Her face felt hot, and she presses her hands to them to calm down. She looks at the necklace, it seemed to have the same jade in as her bracelet. She smirks and looks at their other bits. They’d also gotten a bar of soap each, she picks up Kai’s and gives it a sniff. Then she closes her eyes and takes a longer breath in. It smelt of cypress, juniper, and moss with a hint of sea salt.

Izora’s signature was now printed across her posture, elegant yet wounded, fierce yet vulnerable. The imitation was uncanny. Her skin was dusted with the same honey-warm glow. Her long, dark wig matched Izora’s jet-black waves, styled to fall gently past her chest. The gown, an exact replica of Izora’s satin dress, wrapped around her with the same bow at the nape of her spine. She even wore the same perfume: night-blooming jasmine with a trace of vanilla and lemon zest, Izora’s favorite, gifted by Kaiser in Venice.

Cologne which did not belong to her. She took in a deep breath and prayed to God that her father wouldn’t notice the odd scent.
