Always so direct.” Rose appeared at the edge of the lawn, carrying another tray. “You, human. Serve me a glass of juice,” Kiara said, so I stepped forward and reached for a crystal glass on the tray. Then the king of Kiev’s chair scraped harshly against the marble floor, the sudden sound cutting through the low murmur of voices. “Ah, you, human,” he said. “I liked the new dress.”

Before I could ponder on what to do the book was taken out my hands. I quickly wiped my eyes and looked over to the high king looking at my book. "Where did you start?"
