Author's POV… Kara smirked as she tightened her grip on the glass cup of wine she held. She stood up and moved to the window side. The view from there was fascinating to watch, but Kara wasn't standing there to get interested in the view; a lot was going on in her mind. Her body was shaking with immense anger, she was trying so hard to maintain her calm, but it was not working. The scene kept popping and replaying in her head, and she couldn't help but get more annoyed.

I spoke between gritted teeth, the anger visibly shaking me. “Where is Karica?” Mom asked, gently rubbing Minerva’s back. Deep creases formed on her forehead.
