Penampakan sesosok kuntilanak merah sering terlihat menghantui warga semenjak menghilangnya seorang gadis di Desa Kumpeh, Menur. Tak lama berselang, teror terus berlanjut. Desa Kumpeh kembali geger sebab ditemukannya mayat seorang pria yang terbunuh secara brutal di kawasan pohon beringin yang dianggap wingit dan sebagai tempat tinggal Makhluk Merah si penguasa tempat itu. Di desa lainnya, lima orang pria mati dengan keadaan serupa, sadis dan tidak manusiawi. Apakah kematian mereka ada hubungannya dengan kematian pria sebelumnya? Apakah kematian mereka disebabkan oleh sosok kuntilanak merah atau pun si Makhluk Merah penunggu pohon beringin keramat? Mampukah Sanusi, si kepala kampung, memecahkan misteri yang terjadi di desa tempat tinggalnya?
