Like she was made to be there, which she was. The elevator doors open, and I step out, gasping when I see rows upon rows of luxurious cars. Azazel reaches into his pocket, removes a key fob, and points to a black Dodge Hellcat. The car is beautiful. The locks turn as he opens the passenger door for me, helping slip Nevaeh into the front seat. Bemused, he observes as I put on her seatbelt. Our hands touch briefly, and our eyes meet. I give her a smile, which she returns shyly. It would be a perfect moment if Azazel wasn’t scrutinizing my movements. However, I can’t help but caress her hand before I slip back out of the car.
