She had always been composed, but today, there was a subtle confidence in her tone that came from knowing she had been chosen out of many to spearhead this project. "Oh, tell me what it was like then," Avery snipes, her politeness replaced with the cattiness she was trying to avoid. "It was hell," Kathleen growls, "I had nobody to talk to for six months. Nothing to do. It was horrible."

They turned to see tall, beautiful dark haired woman standing a few feet away with a smirk on her face. Leah had to admit. She felt a momentary bit of jealousy upon first seeing the woman. The woman looked graceful and elegant. Leah felt almost homely compared to this woman, and the smirk on the woman’s face didn’t make things any better. Leah almost felt like smacking the smirk right off her face. Was this bitch one of Ray’s ex-lovers? She wouldn’t be surprised. After all, Ray was a very handsome and sexy man. She said dragging her bag as she hurried into the company, the staff kept bowing at her, she was one of the directors of Calvin's group under one of their branches. Katherine's body was tense with irritation as she whirled around to face Convel, the fog so thick that it nearly blocked her view of him. "What I'm meant to do?" Katherine demanded, her voice waspish. "What exactly is it that you think I'm 'meant to do, Convel?" Katherine's voice was snappy and harsh. She was so incredibly sick of this everyone telling her what she was 'meant to be' and meant to do. It was crap, and Katherine was sick of it.
