Katie turned away and just giggled in the direction of Christopher. "It - it doesn't seem like she wants the cake from you, Olivia," Joan suggested, leaning to Olivia. "It's okay. I can feed her." Katie scolded feigning a high squeaky voice, so that now she sounded more like a brightly animated cartoon. At that Nick did a mental facepalm, rolling his eyes heavenward as he let out a long heavy sigh. Sometimes, he wondered if this woman sitting beside him was actually twenty two, or rather sixteen years old. She is so beautiful that you could easily mistake her for some glamorous model or fabulous actress. I smile at the thought, because that could not be further from her personality. Katie is a down home country girl, through and through. She is only happy when she is ankle deep in mud with one of her many animals. She does not dream of fame and fortune; her only dream is to become a vet, marry her long-time boyfriend Eric and live on a farm, raising a half dozen little rugrats.

It’s not a big issue, though, as her clothes are a bit too big for me. KC ensures I never run out of painkillers.
