The Evening Star

The Evening Star

Grappling hooks were starting to fly from the other ship, locking the ships together. “Cut the Ropes!” Claire yelled as she pulled the wheel hard away from the ship. The ship creaked as it tried to follow orders but there were too many ropes holding it to the other ship. Claire narrowed her eyes at the ship. It had jet black sails with a crescent moon on them. At the end of the crescent moon a star was dangling. Claire felt a strange feeling of dejavu. Did she know this ghostly ship? She looked down at the lower deck and the men were frantically trying to free the ship. Each time rope was cut it was magically replaced with another. They clearly had done this before.

Bayou Whispers

Bayou Whispers

And that pain, and her love, were stronger than anything else on that goddamn boat. Jeannine leapt at Papa Nightmare using her one good leg and drove the machete through his open mouth and out the back of his skull. The noise of battle ceased around them. The undead soldiers from long ago melted into the decking of the Sultana. The ship itself began to disintegrate as spectral planks gave way to rushing water. “Go!” screamed Curtis. The ghost ship rocked as its boilers exploded. With Papa Nightmare dead, there was nothing to hold the ghost ship together. Time was suddenly catching up with the old ship. The Sultana was reliving its death by fire from over a century ago.

KATE

KATE

I decided to keep my mouth shut on a second thought. Kate’s POV I kept staring at the ceiling of my room. My face and eyelid showed no movement for hours. Either because of grief or disappointment or both. Everything I have come to believe came crushing down that instant. For some reasons, I felt I have a role to play in all this. However, I felt powerless like a lizard before a hawk. My feet and hand became numb. I sat still thinking about my life. I immersed myself in the ocean of thoughts. Who can save me from this water? Are they too deep for me?

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

At this time, in the void, the pressure behind Caspian had made him feel difficult to breathe, but he still had to hold on for a while. "I don't just want to get rid of the other party. This guy is chasing so happily. I must make him painful," Caspian gritted his teeth and said. "Okay..." As if he had understood what Caspian was thinking, the one behind the Gates of Hell said after that. As soon as Caspian finished speaking, a spirit boat appeared in the crack in the sky where the palm had appeared. Above the spirit boat, there was a flag that belonged to the Ghost Kill Pavilion.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

His eyes remained insightful, never leaving the seascape ahead. The Spirit of the Ocean was an incredible boat. The hull was made of steel and the superstructure, aluminium. The twin Caterpillar engines could cruise at thirteen knots and climb to a maximum speed of fifteen should the need arise. It had eight cabins, with a capacity to sleep up to fifteen people, served by a crew of twenty. She flew under the flag of the Cayman Islands as RMLC had a base there—for tax purposes, Melville suspected. There were three decks, one fore, one aft, and the top deck where passengers could drink cocktails and watch the stars.

Ghost Lover

Ghost Lover

Was she dead? All this explains why the bus didn't stop, people didn't reply to her when she waved. They couldn't see her, that was why she was found in the cemetery. Austin stared at her and took a step back, this revelation alone almost blew up his mind. She was with a Ghost? Why can he see a ghost? "Oh my God," he muttered with his voice shaking, he ran past his brother and went into his room. He locked his door quickly, trying to stop Tasha or his brother from getting in.

King of the Seditious

Wobbling upward in curling gray fingers. Savage turned and ordered the sails adjusted. Slowing the ship. There was a thunk and a slight jostle before a scraping along the starboard side. “Got a floater!” A sailor called. Leaning over the rail. To watch the greenish bloated figure bobbing in the water. Loose bits of skin peeling free to coat the hazy water. “Savage Jack!” Dimurah shouted. “Are we in the Sea of Souls? You’re not dumping me on Sanctuary Island! You’re not!”

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

On the horizon, ships were approaching. They weren't the sleek, geometric destroyers of the Architect. They were ugly, rusted, and trailing black smoke. A flotilla of scavenged vessels. Fishing trawlers welded with armor plating. A container ship mounted with old artillery cannons. A cruise ship painted in camouflage dazzle patterns. "The Free Fleet," Silas identified them, peering through a pair of binoculars. "The remnants of the Atlantic Navy and the coastal survivors. They’ve been hiding in the fog banks for years." "Are they friendly?" I asked. "They're human," Mom said, checking the load in her pistol. "So... probably not." The lead ship a converted frigate named the Goliath sounded it

Valerius observed. "Noted." Katherine emerged from below deck, her tactical gear replaced with a business suit she'd somehow manifested from the ship's supplies. Jack had learned not to question how she always managed to look like she was about to chair a hostile board meeting, even after fighting her way through an inverted pyramid of impossible geometry. "We have a problem," she announced. "Just one? That's actually an improvement." "The Coast Guard is scrambling. I'm picking up chatter on the emergency frequencies—they've classified us as an 'unidentified maritime anomaly' and are debating whether to contact the Navy."

Claimed by the Alpha's Curse

Claimed by the Alpha's Curse

It wasn’t the smooth silver mirror described in stories, nor the playful tides painted on childhood murals. It was vast and hungry, its waves were blackened by storm-winds and haunted with the breath of ghosts. They reached the coastline in three days, riding under the banner of the Accord, but even that sacred emblem did little to calm the villagers that greeted them. “Stay off the eastern shoals,” a toothless old woman warned as they secured the boats. “That sea remembers the old ones. It remembers who bled into it.”
