Care to comment?” My heart skipped, but I forced a laugh, echoing the press tour (November 2027). “Old news, fabricated drama,” I said, my voice steady. “Nexus is the story tonight.” He smirked, jotting notes. “Fans on X aren’t buying it. They’re saying, ‘Kayla’s baby’s real!’” I shrugged, my smile tight. “Let them talk.” He wandered off, but his words stung, Elise’s shadow looming—her ultrasound leak, her gala taunt. Was she here, watching?

She seems nice. "Hey Camara, I'm Kyla, I'm twenty." she says, shaking her hand and hugging her. "You're so nice!" this Camara says. "This is Cayden, she's twenty too." When I look over to Cayden, she looks at me, biting her lip at me and I immediately feel uncomfortable. "He's hot. Who's he?" Cayden asks. "Cayden, that's not cool. I told you that Vixen was her boyfriend. We all know that." Lyilah says before Kyla could get a word out.

I said. Bella pats my back with a smile before turning on the TV, and she screamed so loudly when she saw Kendell Jenner on TV. I had to cover my ears, so I won't go deaf as a result of her scream. "Kendell Jenner is on TV!!" She screams again, looking so excited. "So?" I asked and my question made her face me with an angry look in her eyes. "That's my role model" She said with a hurtful face. Bella's dream is to become a popular model just like Kendell Jenner. Jenner is one of the most popular models in America and as such, Bella is so whipped by her beauty.

Paige’s eyes widened at the realization, yes, this has to be a joke. “Kayden? Do you mean Almighty Kayden? Handsome as the devil Kayden?” Crystal rolled her eyes, she had forgotten, Paige is one of his fangirls. She had religiously followed him on all social media, Kayden was a very popular man, despite being rich and very secretive…He was very handsome. Khloe echoed, both eyebrows up as she slowly descended from the staircases, eyes on the group. She looked so calm and collected even when the internet was buzzing with her name. She didn’t seem to care about the fact that she was trending and not for a good cause. “What’s the problem, Kayla?” Kaiden asked, his voice barely audible. “Oh my God!” she exclaimed, laughing out loud as though she didn’t hear what he said.

Kayla said "I also know that you hate Catherine. You said that she isn't a good person and that I shouldn't trust her. I wish I would have listened to you," I said. Kayla was about to say something but I spoke before she could. "I also know that you are in love with Jeffrey Manning. He is one of the football players at White River High. You hope he turns out to be your mate," I said. I could tell she was thinking about everything that I said so I kept talking. "I also know that your dad wants you to become a warrior like him, but you want to be a Pack Doctor," I said "How did you know that?" Kayla asked

“I'm really sorry you have to face my dad.” “Why are you apologizing? It's something I would eventually have to do once it goes public that both of us are in a relationship, so I’m not bothered at all.” Kayla had to pretend like she wasn’t for that even when she was very, very sad about the kind of questions that she will be asked because she knows her background isn’t very good. She was raised by a single mother who used to work as a maid in Justin’s family house, so it’s kind of difficult for her to talk about her background to outsiders, which is making her worry so much about having this conversation with Zach’s family.
