Just as she sat down to go over the presentation one last time, her office phone rang. “You’re needed in Mr. Reign’s office,” said the voice on the other end. Rhea sighed, stood up, smoothed her jacket, and walked down the hallway toward his office. She gave a soft knock and entered. “You called?” she asked. Kieran looked up from his desk and nodded. There was something different about him today. His usual slicked-back hair was now styled in a sharp side bang, making him look even more refined. He wore a navy-blue suit instead of his signature black, and it somehow made him look more approachable… though still intimidating.
