Leaning forward, I placed my face just a few inches from the mirror. Lifting my hand to my left eye, I tried to get a better view of it. Using a larger chunk of the mirror, I pulled the underside of my eye down. The color under my lower lid seemed to be inflamed but they didn’t have much of a pink or red color, instead, they almost looked white. It was like there was no blood going to the underside of my eyes. Even the lower portion of my eye seemed more yellow than white. The pupils of my eyes seemed even bigger, making my once green eyes appear much darker, almost black.
