Lost City at Sea

Lost City at Sea

“It says ‘Emergency! I have found King Rexius and the Great Sea City of Ajens, but I am being caught in an avalanche. SOS! My coordinates are—’ and then it cuts off.” A broad smile appeared on the lieutenant’s face. “I have heard of the Lost City at Sea, my boy, and I know that your father has spent years looking for it. But what amazes me is your fiery belief in its existence. What makes you believe in those legends?” Ishida remained silent. This was because Rhina had placed her hands around his mouth to prevent him from speaking. “Listen to me carefully, boy. You and the girl have seven days to find the Great Sea City of Ajens. Bring us some of the gold you find. It must be worth no less t

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

"How far is it?" Corin considered. "By the old road?" He pointed into the darkness. "About a day." Then he looked toward the broken sections. "The way it is now?" A pause. The old Watchkeeper smiled faintly. "Longer." Of course. Nothing about forgotten cities was ever convenient. The Wayfinder remained docked beside the station while preparations began. Not because we expected danger. Because exploring a lost city built by ancient road-builders seemed like the sort of activity that benefited from preparation.

The cursed mate's return

The cursed mate's return

“It’s not just a monster, It's a protector.” “A protector?” I repeated, incredulous. “A protector of what?” “The city," Finnick said, his gaze never leaving the creature. “The city Kade plans to burn to the ground.” I sensed a cold quiver run down my spine. “set it ablaze ? But why?” “Because Kade believes it’s the only way to rebuild it. To reset everything. To shatter the old world and build a new one from the ashes. He knows... he believes it’s the only way to make things right this time.”

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

He looked at the city below, the fragile, beautiful, imperfect city that he had burned universes to protect. "When I destroyed the Weavers' firewall," Jack said slowly, "I assumed they built it to keep threats out. But I just found the original construction logs." He paused, the weight of the revelation crushing the air from his lungs. "They built it to keep something in."

The Alpha's concubine mate

The Alpha's concubine mate

Five years had passed since the new balance was forged, and the world had changed. The valley at the foot of the Sunstone Mountains had grown into a thriving city—Balance’s Rest—where humans, former primal warriors, and light guardians lived together in peace. Four massive towers stood at the city’s corners, each one channeling power from the four pillars of the Well of Origins, strengthening the barrier that held back the void and the trapped gods.

The Lost Heirs

The Lost Heirs

“What the hell is Mr. Apion hiding in his workplace that needs to be guarded round the clock?” “Ancient artifacts?” “Million-dollar diamonds?” He fires a line of questions that I simply can’t answer. “Still think I’m being paranoid about them?” A sense of achievement rings in his tone. “These people are hiding something big.” “Whatever it is, we’re going to find out.” I say and look down to switch my flashlight back on. Then a realisation taps at my mind’s shoulder to remind me that I have no idea where our rooms are. And more pressingly, how to return to them.

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

“I almost lost him, Parker.” “I know,” I whisper. “But you didn’t.” She exhales slowly before nodding. “Be careful out there, Parker. I love you.” “Always.” I squeeze her hand once more before stepping away. “And I love you too.” Leo meets me near the southern trail, two of Midnight’s enforcers waiting with him, both dark-furred, lean, and sharp-eyed, the kind of wolves who move like they’re shadows. A great trait for an enforcer.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

this was the first story I read by this author. it was beautiful! I felt every emotion and got some crazy looks from my mate when I would start laughing or wiping my face because I shed some tears. it's definitely worth reading. I finished it in 2 days because I literally couldn't put it down

The Lost Royal

The Lost Royal

And not just because Mama had said so. I stalked off, turning South, with Silver Waters' territory on my right, and Crimson Forest's on my left, knowing that I'd eventually reach somewhere that belonged to neither. Somewhere warmer. Probably one of those chaotic, noisy, overcrowded human cities that they all talked about with such derision. "Ava!" Tyler called, sounding hurt, but I raised my middle finger over my shoulder, and didn't bother turning back.

THE LOST TIDE KING

THE LOST TIDE KING

A child hid behind his mother’s coat. An old man touched the scar crossing his throat. I remembered the drowned throne room. The crown. Raiken’s blood. Grandmother splitting the bond. But not this city. I closed a gateway, I said. The woman who had spat laughed bitterly. You closed yours. She pointed toward the canals. Black water moved beneath the bridges. Shapes drifted within it. Bodies. No. Statues. Thousands of stone figures lay beneath the surface, their hands raised toward the city above.

His to Keep

His to Keep

He kept his gaze fixed out the window, watching the city blur past, but his body remembered everything: the way Nikolai had looked at him as children, the protective shadow he’d cast, the way that protection had twisted into something deeper, more complicated, over the years. Classes passed in a disorienting blur. Lectures on literature and history faded into background noise while Arlo’s thoughts kept drifting back to the penthouse. Kevin texted twice—apologies mixed with casual invitations to hang out and “talk things through.” Arlo read the messages but didn’t reply. Not yet. He wasn’t ready to explain any of this, least of all to Kevin.
