Keith clicked his tongue as soon as he realized the presence of a car watching them from a distance. Looking in the rearview mirror of his Maserati MC20 Nero Enigma, he counted three cars following them at the same speed. His eyes then glanced briefly to find Marie, who was still sleeping in her seat.

Levi remarked and chortled, shaking his head. K's bright blue eyes widened for a split second. She masked it off with a deliberate eye-roll. "I'll go get us drinks." She excused herself and marched off into the kitchen. Jesse followed, getting champagne flutes from the cupboard and handed it over to K to pour some Möet Imperial Rosé onto the tall, thin glasses. "Calm down," K whispered against his mouth and then gave him a quick kiss, her lips curved into a big, confident smile. "I'm so excited!"

The streets were nearly empty, the city humming with an eerie quiet. Kane led her to his truck, its massive frame towering over her. Her eyes widened. "Wow. You have a truck too?" He smirked. "Yeah."
