fate betrayal

fate betrayal

I also sought answers since I was becoming more concerned about Veyron and Darius's involvement in my demise. The gold-embossed titles of leather-bound books faded with time as my fingertips traced along their spines. Selena's silent but urgent call for prudence blended with Lucas's cryptic warnings about treachery in my head. So far, none of it made sense. I was determined to put it all together, however. --- Tucked down in the library's furthest corner was the section I was looking for. It was identified as the Lunaris Chronicles by faded labeling. These shelves were loaded with tales of the Moon Goddess, long-forgotten festivals, and ancient rituals.

The Heartless Lover

The Heartless Lover

the message read. “This is my chance to find out what Alma is up to, I can't miss it” I ignored Haze's message, slipping my phone in the pocket of my trousers. I gently pushed the door open, the library was illuminated by the soft glow of a crystal chandelier, Heavy drapes covered the windows. The air was filled with the smell of polished wood and old paper. I've always liked the library, its towering shelves that were filled with books that had secrets to share, although I hardly ever come to the Hernandez library, I wonder what kind of books they stacked in here.

Coeval Onus

Coeval Onus

Walking past a few bookshelves, Leonard and I wander into the library, looking around for Machiv while also seeing some books. We happen to also pass Mrs. Drake, and confirm if it's alright in handing the sandwiches to Machiv, and she says as long as no mess is created, than it should be fine. After that, Leonard and I turn a corner around a bookshelf deep in the library, and up ahead, at the top of a pretty tall library ladder, is Machiv. Reading a book when folded open that could hide Machiv's torso and head, he quietly flips through it while jotting down some information on a little notepad. He easily floats above us that I can see the bottom of his shoes from this distance, and seeing hi

Rebirth: What’s Left Of Me

Rebirth: What’s Left Of Me

Was it those recruiters from the damn Vulture gang again? Were they going to try and kill me? Oh, fuck. *** We pulled up to the school in record time, with fifteen minutes to spare. I told Erwin to stay by the car, then sprinted through the rain, down the deserted halls, and straight into the library. Inside, the lights were off, casting a dim glow through the three-story library's expansive windows. The place was almost luxurious, with towering mahogany bookshelves stretching up to the ceiling, filled with leather-bound volumes and neatly arranged textbooks. Ornate golden chandeliers hung from above, their lights dimmed, casting intricate shadows across the polished oak floors. A grand stai

Running Away With The Alpha’s Triplets

Running Away With The Alpha’s Triplets

Marcel replied. Marcel is the owner of this library where he hid the most valuable and as well many extinct knowledge in one of these books lays the tale of a Lycan marked by a Demon and the pain they suffered in order to be together. The librarian got the key from the last drawer and handed it over to Marcel who took hold of it, thanked her and left. He walked through the shelf’s to a door labeled ‘Employees only!.’ Marcel opened the door with the key and walked in and locked the door.

I muttered. Miles laughed, his hand brushing against mine as we moved deeper into the library, the shelves towering around us, the air thick with the scent of parchment and dust. "Yeah," he said, his voice soft. "But you’ll get there." The library was a maze of shadows and whispered secrets, the towering shelves casting long, shifting shapes across the floor. Miles moved with purpose, his steps sure as he navigated the stacks, his fingers trailing along the spines of the books like he was reading their souls.

I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!

A Time for Strength

A Time for Strength

Right? I’ll play along for now. At least I get to admire Bronx’s impressive collection of ancient books and scrolls. They really are beautiful and most of them are one of a kind. Bronx has us split up and assigns us various sections of the library to look through. I try to focus on the ancient book I pulled off the shelf, but Milo keeps mindlinking me. It starts out pretty innocently, telling me he likes my crop top and how good my ass looks, but it escalates throughout the morning. Each message is dirtier than the last.

I thought this was a great book. It was interesting to read the perspectives of other characters, allowing us to see what they knew and when. My only complaint is a seemingly awkward ending. Does anyone know if the author is ok?

31 Chapters 07/13/23 Yesssss Sugar Mama, you've got my attention. Love a baddie, strong female with a saucy attitude. I was so tired of these weak little damsels who need big Zaddy Alpha to save them. I was horny throughout FL scenes. Thank you for that.

His Blood Slave

His Blood Slave

The library was dusty, full of cobwebs that reminded me of old and abandoned houses. Ripped books can also be found on the corners. Rats are everywhere. Cockroaches and spiders are hiding under the pages of these leathery books. But beyond all this dust and age, I feel at ease. I took a few books with me. Most of it are chronicles of the past, mathematics, astronomy and the like. I was so indulged with every page that it took me a while to realize that my mentor just entered the room. I stood from my seat, and greeted him. Behind him was my Master, hiding his sinister smile.

ONCE UPON AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE

ONCE UPON AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE

I never forget anything". Vince replied and Rosella grinned slightly. Then Vince began leading the way to the library and it didn't take them so much time before reaching the library and like Vince said Grace was already there pressing her phone while waiting for them. "Is this the school's library?". Camila gasped at how immensely huge the library was, and every inch of it was filled with different kinds of books. "Of course it's the school's library. Why do I have the feeling that you'll be coming here more often than usual?". Rosella said and Camila just glanced at her.

HOUSE OF WITCHES

HOUSE OF WITCHES

Claus said and she halted at the spot while Hayley and Marcus left. “What do you want?” “Tell me the truth about your friend Hayley Michael.” “What is the crow?” Justin asked as they walked into the castle's library. “Patience.” Lelia uttered. Such a magnificent chamber showered with gleams of the sunlight. It was a wonderful part of the castle, the bookshelves were as tall as the walls, and the books had special covers. They were mostly gold and red, but there was this one that caught Janeka's attention. It had a black thick leather cover and a golden seal on its top.
