Lena's POV. I hummed a sweet, melodious tune as I walked down from the market with a bag of groceries in my hand. I couldn't get his voice out of my mind. I was excited. Too excited. He promised to marry me, he promised to make me his Luna. And even as I silently flung open the door, I could hear his voice in my head. Literally. “Yes! oh god! Yes! Come on, fuck the shit out of me” a loud moan snapped me out of my head. I froze looking straight ahead at the couch.

She wouldn’t let it. She inhaled deeply, trying to center herself. “You’re tense,” the Lycan said, his voice smooth, deep, and teasing. “I don’t enjoy being watched by an entire room,” she replied coolly, her gaze skimming the crowd. All eyes were on them. He smiled. “Then I suppose I should introduce myself, give them something to talk about. I’m Knox. Knox Green, Alpha of the Southern Lycan Pack.” “Lydia. Heiress of the Moonglade Pack,” she replied, matching his tone.

A lone figure stood in the center of the main room, facing a massive screen that resembled a fractured, liquid mirror. Leora had shed her hoodie and scarf. She was younger than Anton had guessed, perhaps mid-twenties, with a sharp, intelligent face framed by choppy black hair dyed electric blue at the tips. She wore utilitarian black clothing, but her fingers were adorned with chunky, tech-infused rings that glimmered in the screen’s light. She didn't turn as they entered. “You’re late,” she said, her voice now her own—clipped, with a faint Eastern European accent.

Leo replied, waiting patiently. Picking up her phone, Chloe jumped into the bed and got herself covered by the duvet. Tapping on her phone quickly, she huffed in satisfaction when she saw what she was looking for. "Here, check this out. This is her picture and a brief writeup on her." She said showing him. Leo blinked slowly at the picture covering the entire screen. "What's her name again?" "Darby Miller. Isn't she beautiful?" She mused. Nodding his head hurriedly, he smiled tightly. "I guess she is. Let's go to sleep now, Aaron messed me up a bit with too much shots of tequila. I need to sleep."

“No luck.” She shook her head and wrapped me in a hug. “They are stubborn as hell. But they will see reason. Logan will come to his senses. He will realize you are what he needs. Not that bitch, Sienna.” I laughed at Luna Gloria calling Sienna a bitch. She was always so calm and collected. It was necessary. She was a Luna. Calling someone a bitch was totally not a Luna thing. But it was nice to know that she agreed with me. Sienna really was a bitch.

But then, Genebeth found something on the counter which she excitedly showed to everyone. "Isn't this your necklace, Abby?" She asked, holding out the thing in her hands. My eyes shone brightly when I saw it. Rushing over to her side, I inspected it. It was broken, but it had been fixed back. The last time I had seen it was when Adam shoot it at his house a month ago. I couldn't believe I would be able to see it again. "I fixed it," Lylion muttered from the corner. "It's a relic that belonged to the late Luna, the Queen of our kingdom. It's important to His Highness."

Leo said going back to his room. Lois got up immediately to follow him, she was pulled back by Clara. Lois was standing face to face with Clara, "You might be Leo's new plaything but get one thing into that gold digging skull of yours. Leo is mine and will forever be mine. You are just a street slut, he will eventually get tired of you." Clara said as Lois kept her head low.

Leo said smoothly, completely unbothered. The heavy oak doors clicked open, and Chloe marched into the room. She was the perfect picture of campus elite, wearing a tailored houndstooth trench coat, her dark hair pulled back into a flawless ponytail. But her expression wasn't celebratory. Her eyes darted instantly between Leo’s relaxed posture and Gia’s flushed cheeks, her brow knitting into a sharp, calculating line.

he chuckled while he put his both hands up. "We are no beast!" he said emphatically "That's not what humans said," he shrugged his shoulders while he scoffed. "Geeez! Steve cut the crap!" he then walked past him annoyed. They reach the huge room with that loud noise from the outside. The members went silent when they entered the premises and greeted the Alpha and the Beta. Everything went like a slow-motion to him as he was about to announce Aquila's comeback. He was waiting for this moment for so long. He wanted to keep this a secret at first for some reason but as an Alpha, he needs to tell it to the other members.

Beta Nightfury ordered them to wait outside while he goes in to inform Alpha Killian of their presence. “Come in.” Another guard opened the door while they entered. Caleb and the three rogues dropped to their knees bowing their head and only rose after Alpha Killian's order. “I am Caleb, one of the Blue moon warriors.” Caleb introduced. “I was ordered to scout weak points along the border, but in the process, I found these three rogues. They were chasing after a lady and I followed them only to realize that they were chasing after ex Luna Selene.” The others present in the room, Including Lilliana, who sat next to Alpha Killian. She gasped at first, but slowly a smirk formed on her face.
