FORGOTTEN IDENTITY
Kade said, settling onto the bench beside me, Killian taking the other side, the three of us alone now beneath the string lights, the party's distant warmth still audible but pleasantly muted.
"I needed a minute," I admitted. "It's been a lot. Wonderful, but a lot."
"Understandable," Kade said, his arm settling around my shoulders. "You're seven months pregnant and just legally non-legally married two men simultaneously. I think you've earned a quiet minute."
I laughed at that, leaning my head against his shoulder, Killian's hand finding mine on the other side.
"Can I tell you both something?" I said quietly.
"Always," Killian said.
