He felt as though the door would break open and a horde of zombies would enter, killing them all. He tried his best to keep his focus on the screen, ignoring the muffled noise around him. However, when he heard a low growling beside him, he turned to look at Jade and he began screaming at the top of his lungs. Jade had somehow managed to make herself look like a zombie in the few minutes he was gone. She had plunged at him like she wanted to bite him when he looked at her and as he screamed, she couldn't help but laugh.

Their eyes were closed and a peculiar feeling of devastation began to run, like a thousand streams, into his chest, at the thought that they might be dead. “No!” he shouted as he fell to his knees. The woman’s lime green eyes cracked open and the thin layer of ice around her face cracked, but then froze again. He exhaled in relief and reached out to wipe away the tiny crystals already accruing on her lashes. “God, you’re cold,” he exclaimed, bringing his hands over her frigid cheeks.

Jo chuckled. "You will feel so much differently after meeting a friend of mine. Oh, here she is now!" Sensing Aisha's presence coming, he opened the door to see a beautiful, light skinned woman, with ice blue eyes and a cold action aura surrounding her. "Aisha, meet Tristan, the newest Royal Alpha." Jo smiled, a small shiver running along his spine. "Jo!! What did your brutes do to him," she hissed, her wolf jumping out protectively.

I woke up the next day feeling cold. Marco poured a bucket of cold water on me. "Aren't you supposed to be awake by now?" He asked. I lifted my body and tried to stand up. "What do you want?" I asked and he held my wrist and pressed it. I winced in pain before he released it. "You have a package to deliver for me." He eyed me. "Why can't he send it to DHL?" I asked myself. "What package?" I asked and i got a slap in the face.

Dice's jaw ticked monstrously at the question, but then he relaxed and replied with a smirk, "Well, Mrs Rexroth, you ruined me. And it's about time I returned the favor." The rest of the ride was dead silent after that, but the tension between us was too palpable to miss. Or maybe it was just me. This Dice was a different person from five years ago. From his looks, to how he acted. He was so cold and stoic, so brutally unfeeling. I wondered if I'd done this to him, but then I decided that I didn't really want to know. There was no way I would've affected him this much, right?

"You've got quite the eye, Vance! Good taste." My face burned even hotter at the blunt teasing. "Shut your loud mouth," Ryder grumbled, though there was no real malice in his tone. He turned around, offering me a hand to help me up, then pulled me by the waist, pressing me possessively against his side. "Baby, ignore this idiot. This is Jason. My old best friend and hockey teammate from Canada." Jason extended his hand to me with a warm, golden-retriever-like smile that completely contrasted with my boyfriend's dark aura. "Jason. Specialist in pissing Ryder off, and the actual captain on the ice. It's nice to finally meet the angel who managed to melt this monster."

They both watched as it land on her nose, making her sneeze–and it dispersed. Jin chortled, “Jack Frost nipped your nose!” She gave him a confused stare, “…who?” “But you know what, Aria. This place is a good spot for making snow angels,” Jin carried on, looking around them with a wide grin on his face, “...and snowmen!”
