I have seen that place in my dreams, there's no fucking way such a place wouldn't exist, there's no way. I promise myself to go in search of that book probably after the war saga is over, it will be unwise to leave the pack during such a heated period. They need me and I have to put away every one of my tasks or missions for the betterment of the pack. A knock came on the door of my study, immediately I got on my feet to step out, "Who's that?" I asked. "It's Joy," she replied, immediately I reached for the door and opened it, the next thing that happened shocked me. Joy fell straight into my arms, "Help me, help me," she muttered gasping for breath.

I'm too chicken-shit to say the words because this world is about to destroyed. "I understand, Jessa," Brixtius once again shocked me. This time for his kindness. "I'll give you all the time you need to heal," his eyes full of hope. "Thank you," I answer, my eyes starting to glisten from tears. Why is love so damn draining? But time is not on our side...

(LILY POV) “Are you two wasting a resource? I don’t trust the baking skill you possess Lily. Butler Nang! Who told you to let them make mess in my kitchen!” The killjoy commences again his agitation toward us. If ever your going to asked me who is the ultimate killjoy in the surface of the world. It was Jeoff! He is! HE IS! Jeoff was the king of the killjoys! He should be declared as the world’s killjoy EVER! “Jeoff.” He might forget that he was dying human a while ago. But…

He is shivering by looking at the cover of the book. “What is it Al-” Jeje comes to Alfi and remains silent when he sees the cover of the book. “Alfi, don’t tell me it is the one?” Jeje averts to Alfi, err his head turns to Alfi. His eyes are just drawing. How could I forget the fact that Jeje is a Jailangkung with a Gundam head? “Exactly,” Alfi said in a serious tone. “What is it, guys? Why are you so serious?” Kartika approaches both of them. ”What book is that any-” Kartika who sees the cover of the book directly smacks their heads really hard that they pass out.

I say. THE END Book three is called The Strong, and it is Jude Ashford’s story. Dylan and Jo will be a part of that book. You will see what happens to them through Jude’s eyes. Jude is the second oldest brother and the quietest one of them all. He is a mystery to his brothers, but time will knock down his defenses and expose him to everyone. Join the Ashford’s finding out who Jude Ashford really is.

* * * A/N : So guys, hope you liked this chapter! I promise it gets better further lmao. 'Ma' will be written as 'Maa' throughout the book. Also, JJ calls Jamal 'Jamie,' it's just a nickname. This book will be messy, but by the end, everything ties together. Also unfortunately I wrote this book years ago when I wasn't aware of the negative connotations associated with "committed suicide." When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands. I stopped short when I saw the cover. ‘Knot We Cannot Untie.’ That was the book he was holding. I can't believe that Kael would be reading one of Linda Lively’s books. “You read… this?” I said, the surprise evidently in my voice. Kael looked up, one brow raised. “Why? You think I only read racing magazines and bank statements?” I gave a small laugh. “Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ”

Instead, he leaned back against a mahogany shelf, his casual sweater bunching at his shoulders. He looked at the stack of books on my desk, his eyes lingering on a tattered spine I had tucked at the bottom. "Wait, is that THE STAND?" he asked, pointing to the thick paperback. I looked down, my eyes landing on the book he was referring to. It was a survival horror story. Something about an alien invasion and humans getting wiped out one by one. "Oh. Yes. I’ve read it three times, but I find comfort in the end of the world sometimes. It makes my own feel... manageable."
