Slowly, my hands reached out to the light switch and I turned them on, only to see the most horrifying scene of my life. Kelvin was lying lifelessly in a pool of his own blood. His face was turned to the floor with two daggers stuck in him, one at his back and the other was stuck to his skull. Not too far from where my childhood best friend's corpse lay, his mobile phone was shattered. The scenario was clear. Kelvin had probably attempted to report Ivanka and she had killed him obviously. Then, I heard the wooden floor creak and I realized that I was in bigger trouble than I had anticipated.

As she drew closer to the driver seat door, she saw his head resting on the driving wheel. “Kent!” She ran and opened the door. She lifted his head and was met with terror. Blood was all over Kent’s face. Kate felt her legs go numb. She tried to scream for help but her voice failed her.

Ashabi said in tears and jumping up and down. “Dying ke?” she asked her and the young girl nodded. “She is bleeding.” She explained and the woman looked at her with surprise. “Bleeding…? Where is she?” She said to her and ran toward the house. With Ashabi following closely, Shade was lying on the floor lifeless and there were so much blood on the floor. “Why is there so much blood?” she asked. “I don’t know ma.” She replied. “Oya… hospital. Go and call Boda Segun, we will use his bike.” The woman said to Ashabi and she ran out again.

The silence inside the subterranean cell was heavy enough to crush bone.
