The King's faceless wife.

The King's faceless wife.

More weapons decorate the wall from top to bottom. Directly opposite from that wall is where everyone is seated. The chairs are made in a stair like manner. The first raw is right at the bottom and the back chairs are up high, almost half way close to the top. Infront of the stair chairs stood two larger chairs, more luxurious and fit for the rulers of this Kingdom. King Viper and Queen Sity were already seated at the front to chairs while the royals and a bunch of people I don't recognize sat on the stair chairs behind the King and Queen.

I’ve been hocked on this story. Glad I started reading this book when it was completed though because I also hate with a passion the waiting for updates. At first this Bar, future King needed a royal kick in the behind did he really think she had a choice in any of this.

I LOVE this book! It’s the only book I’ve really kept up with that wasn’t complete yet when I started reading it I waited for the daily updates and I’m not the waiting type. Usually I lose interest after awhile but this book hooked me in and continued to keep me hook. Thank you for this amazing book

The Vengeful Lady Rises To Power

The Vengeful Lady Rises To Power

Walter asked out of curiosity. "Uhm to heal a blind friend. Excuse me Mr Walter, do you mind me asking where you got your chair from? Isn't that the serpent throne?" Diana inquired. Walter was shocked how a young looking lady exactly pin pointed what chair it's, scrutinizing her shortly. She remarked, "I spent a lot in acquiring it. You can see how special it's...it was the throne of the king of an ancient dynasty and clearly as you said, the serpent dynasty! The emperor back then used to sit on it..." As his words fell, he shifted to balance comfortably on the throne.

Vampire Gone Wrong

Vampire Gone Wrong

Especially in front of a human. Lord Edward tested his siting position in the chair till he was comfortable, he looked relaxed in it and leisurely looked around the room at all those who wanted to kill him with an easy smile till his gaze fell on me. Ben noticed the action and turned to look at me, his eyes full of questions on how we were to proceed despite the interruption. I just shook my head telling him to wait. I had a feeling Edward was not done. After he was satisfied the chair was to his maximal comfort, he turned back to the council.

Luna Rising

Luna Rising

A single chair sat opposite them. Single. Not at the head. Opposite. I paused just long enough to register it. Cassian gestured smoothly toward the lone seat. “Please, Your Highness.” It was subtle. Deliberate in a way that I couldn’t write off as elders who simply couldn’t make the distinction between the prince who’d roamed the halls as a child and the prince who would take the throne within the next few years. The High Elder took the central chair along the far side, Theodora to his right, Severin to his left. Marcelline and Alaric filled the remaining positions without a word.

Kill Me Alpha, Before I Do (Beast Of Flames Book 1)

Kill Me Alpha, Before I Do (Beast Of Flames Book 1)

The room was off the main kitchen corridor, narrow and wood-panelled, with a long oak table and twelve chairs and windows that looked out over the service courtyard where two groundskeepers were moving slowly through the frost with rakes. I arrived at three minutes past ten and eleven of the twelve chairs were already filled. Mrs Gable was seated directly to the left of the head chair–my chair, with a leather-bound agenda book open and a pen already in hand. She had been running this meeting for eleven years and she looked at it. I sat down. The chair was larger than the others, which was either protocol or a deliberate architectural choice designed to make whoever sat in it feel watched fro

Coronation Of A Disaster

Coronation Of A Disaster

An IV line was discreetely hidden behind the chair, feeding him fluids or medication to keep him upright. "Marigold," he rasped, as I approached. "You look... expensive." "Dexter spared no expense, Your Majesty," I said, executing a curtsy that would have made my debutante coach weep with pride. "Sit," he commanded, gesturing to the chair on his right. Cian was already seated on the left. He was twirling a stem of wine between his fingers, his eyes locked on me. As I sat, he leaned forward, the scent of lilies hitting me like a wave.
