King Leopold's Ghost Novels & Stories

I've been looking into it the last few days since I started noticing the signs, even before the attack from her clan. Kennedy is The Leopard Queen, Queen of all leopards, not just our clan. The last Queen of all leopards was over a thousand years ago and she had three mates and the power to heal. Basically everything Kennedy has been able to do since she was a child, the original Queen of leopards could do too and more. The original Queen and her mates lived for nearly three hundred years, or so the legend says.

Okay," Landon replied decisively. Leopold's face darkened, and he cursed to himself, ‘What a rebellious brat!’ In the days he had taken over the company, truth be told, things had not gone smoothly at all. However, handing the company back to Landon would be a slap in the face for him, and he had to maintain his dignity. He just did not expect Landon to be so uncooperative. Unhappy, Leopold looked around at the guests and then walked straight to the microphone at the front podium. Seeing Leopold's actions, all the guests gathered around puzzledly, wondering what he was about to do.

I don’t want the man to walk in and think he’s suddenly seeing ghosts. It doesn’t take me long to locate Leopold; he’s sitting in his study, looking out of the window. He seems to have the weight of the world on his shoulders. I kind of feel sorry for the man; he’s spent all these years without the love of his life, believing her to be dead. “Evening, Leopold.” He spins on the spot, and his eyes widen. “What the hell are you doing here?” “Calm down,” I wave my hand, instantly calming his temper. “I’m here because I have news for you. Won’t you sit down?”

I needed to find Leopold before the rumors got to him. However, it seemed he had the same thought because just as I hurried around the corner, I slammed into a hard chest. I staggered backward for a moment, my eyes focusing slowly on the figure I had just run into. King Leopold stood before me, his eyes narrowed and his lips pressed in a thin line. “I was just coming to find you,” he said, a low growl in his tone. “I’m hearing you were with a mystery man last night. Who the hell were you with, Cecilia? And you better not lie to me.”
