Bringer Of Darkness
Sumon couldn't help but feel a touch of pride looking at him.
Finally one of the lords spoke and said aloud, "The king is dead. Long live the king!"
The other men nodded and repeated all together, in a loud voice, "The king is dead. Long live the king!"
One by one, the men put one knee on the ground and bowed before Nathan, before the king.
They were all kneeling with their heads bowed in front of him. Nathan looked at them and then raised his head, like a proud man.
Sumon prepared to bow before his king, but Nathan turned and held out his hand. Surprised, she grabbed it, and her husband dragged her to his side, as she heard again from the corridor: "The king is dead. Long live the king."
