After the Chief Gold Prospector Resigned, the Fake Clairvoyant Went Into Panic

After the Chief Gold Prospector Resigned, the Fake Clairvoyant Went Into Panic

Seizing the moment, I pointed directly at Jane and demanded, “And you. Stealing the results of my work and pretending it’s some kind of supernatural ability. Don’t you feel any shame?” Jane’s face turned red with anger after being exposed. “You’re talking nonsense!” she shouted. I stared straight at her. “Then explain something for me. What exactly is your basis for claiming the gold deposit is located at Maple Ridge? “You mentioned quartz veins, sulfur, and arsenic deposits. But those same minerals also appear on Eagle Slope on the east bank of the river. “So why are you so certain the mine is on Maple Ridge on the west bank, and not on Eagle Slope on the east bank?”

My Slum Apartment Hides a Gold Mine

My Slum Apartment Hides a Gold Mine

" Peter was visibly embarrassed. Julie glared at me. "Let me make it clear. If you dare buy this dump for us to live in after we get married, we're done. I refuse to be humiliated like this!" I was about to calm her down when that old voice rang out again. "Ha! What shortsighted fools. I've got three million dollars in cash hidden in the ceiling and another 110 pounds of gold inside the walls. There's a fortune right here, and you still think I'm a dump?

His Sinful Desire

His Sinful Desire

There were no other things except for the book. Right! It was one of the ten secret treasures of the realm, ‘The Sacred Book Of Answers’ or also knows as, ‘The Oracle'. “Do you know why I brought you here?” Diamond shook his head and stared at his uncle’s hands when he held the floating book on his grip easily. From what he knew, that sacred book has its own soul and it would punish the person with a dark intentions. If the book don’t like the person's soul and he will hold it, it would instantly burn him alive even the kings with powers. M.Z. Mauve
seems like an interesting read. the opening chapters and prologue had tension and some good descriptive imagery. just be sure to proofread the narration to get rid of minor punctuation errors (mostly in parts with dialogue) and to improve sentence structures. overall, intriguing plot

The story seems interesting, but I noticed sentences in the past and in the present on the same paragraph. It was hard to concentrate in the story with those changes. Needs a few corrections with this, but overall, a nice read.

His Captive Mate

His Captive Mate

She nods, “Ava and Ewan let Solomon go, and he found his way to the King Alpha Luther’s court. They will be here this afternoon; I have a plan to deal with him. But it depends on His Majesty’s judgement.” Richard’s eyes go wide, “That sadistic prick tried to get in the King’s good books?” George smirks, “Doesn’t sound like he managed it. The King has had him in the cells since he turned up there.” Celine chuckles,

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

'Book forty-three of the Kingsmen Chronicles. He leaned the book back towards him and pulled it from the shelf with grace. He smiled as he looked at it in his hand, his eyes carefully considering the intricate pattern of the gold decorating the cover. Gingerly, he cracked it open, leading through the pages until at last he found the desired portion. "The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not laid hold of it," he read aloud, proclaiming the fate of the nations.

Donovan (Book 3)

"Eddie, we need to get out of here. You will rethink if you go down there and find out what's there." "Oh darling," Eddie grabs my chin and squeezes my cheek as his eyes turn dark. "If I find more treasure there, I will have you locked here for good." "Listen, there's a book, and in the book has a poem, and once you read it, you will know what I'm talking about-" "Oh hush, men!" Eddie snaps his fingers. "Let's go. Solomon, you stay with her and keep an eye watch." Eddie shoved me to Solomon as he and his men went down.

Dangerously mine

The front door. The lights on inside. Safe. Easy. Predictable. “Ma’am?” the driver asked. “We’re here.” I didn’t move. Didn’t reach for the door. Didn’t say anything. Because suddenly It felt wrong. Not the place. The choice. If I went in there He would find me. Immediately. That’s the first place he would look. And I didn’t want to be found. Not yet. Not like this. “Give me a minute,” I said.

The Billionaire's Debt-Bride

The Billionaire's Debt-Bride

The smoke from the burnt journals lingered in the rafters of the stone cellar, a ghostly grey veil that smelled of scorched vellum and lemon oil. Sloane had vanished into the groves, but the silence she left behind wasn't peaceful; it was heavy with the finality of what had been destroyed. The "Solvent of Kings" was no longer a threat because it no longer existed. Damian moved through the wreckage of the studio, his boots crunching on the glass from the shattered ink jar. He didn't look at the empty stove. He looked at me.

The Golden Dragon's Princess

The Golden Dragon's Princess

I asked him. “The treasure has become scattered. Retrieve it.” I went into the tunnel and began collecting up the gold. What appeared to be a small scatter was misleading. There was a king’s ransom of coins and gemstones dislodged from the main pile. I gathered the pieces into my skirt. It seemed irreverent to simply pour the coins and stones onto the pile and I kept an eye on the golden-haired man as I did so. He did not look up from his book. The noise of them falling was impressive.

Leave it to Everleigh to make a person long for their own broody, sexy dragon. Seriously though, I couldn't put this book down. The world this author has created is so vibrant and fun it makes you want to dive in to the pages.

I really loved the book, I wish there were more like it on this app. The characters are charming and the story is beautifully written, the premise makes me want to continue reading the other books. I hope there will be lots more like this one and maybe even longer
