It was the one place in the castle where Kaelen felt he could breathe. He arrived before Lyra, the climb up the winding, narrow stairs a physical manifestation of the ascent he was forcing his mind to make. He had to rise above his grief, to become the king his kingdom needed him to be. He stood by the large, crystalline lens of the great telescope, its glass clouded with age, its gaze turned towards a sky he could no longer see with any clarity. The door creaked open, and Lyra stepped inside, her movements silent and sure. She was not dressed for a clandestine meeting, but in the same simple, dark leather she always wore, a blade at her hip. She was a weapon, and she knew it.

I stared at him, eyebrows furrowed, as if I was trying to tell him how ridiculous an idea it was. "And guess who is bankrolling my campaign?" He asked, the excitement crawling up his skin. He could barely hide it. He was grinning from ear to ear, blushing so fiercely that I tried my best to conceal my laughter. "Who?" "Kingsley The Great. One of the leaders of the many dangerous packs based in Cleveland." He concluded, standing, with his heart pacing in a bid to contain his excitement which to me, was impossible. I ran a hand through my hair. Kingsley? Wasn't he the man that was rumored as fierce and dangerous? He was known almost throughout the country.

That will only make him more off limits and I like that. A few minutes later, the game starts and as soon as I step out onto the field next to all my teammates, my eyes move and find Kingsley surrounded by his dance team. He's wearing a new uniform that I haven't seen him wear before. It's little red shorts and a long sleeved black shirt. His white hair stands out like a light among everyone. The hall was warm with amber light when Katherine and Kingsley stepped inside. Long tapestries draped the windows in calming earth tones, and two tall glass dispensers sat on a linen-covered table near the door—one filled with cucumber-mint water, the other with hibiscus iced tea. A row of handmade clay cups stood beside them, mismatched and charming.

Lem Kingsley POV "You are in my seat, kid," Theo says. "I am studying my books for the literature scholar test, Theo," I say. "Go find another table at this neutral territory meeting spot." "Your father Jack Sterling wants me to watch you," Theo says. He sits down fast in front of me and puts his dark coffee cup on my papers. "The Kingsley crime syndicate has lots of enemies in Kingsport City right now. You cannot just sit alone at the Velvet Rose Café."

Damon grabs his keys, and his hand brushes mine as we head toward the door together. He doesn't say anything. He doesn't have to. We step out into the hallway, and there is Kingsley, slouched on the couch like the building owner that he is. Coffee in one hand, sunglasses pushed into his wild curls. “My favourite people in the whole world,” he announces with a grin. “Good morning, Kingsley,” I say, smiling. “Good morning, beautiful,” he says, with that same unbothered charm that probably gets him into more trouble than it gets him out of.

Most kids get taught all about the kingdom and the kings in school before they are shipped to a pet shop or a blood bank. "No, the ruler of the vampires and shapeshifters are twin kings. Both born hybrid both vampire and wolf. Well technically they arent the kings yet since they havent found their mates yet but they run pretty much everything. The twin kings are the strong hybrids I'm the kingdom" Said reese to tammy then look back at mark. "The heathen is the ultimate hybrid with all their strength and none of there weakness, there is no way a common hybrid could kill it even if they were the kings" Snapped reese.

Just tea, fruit, and something light. Kingsley took it himself, dismissing her with a nod before setting it down beside me. “Better?” he asked. I looked at the tray, then back at him. “Much better,” I said softly. He picked up a piece of fruit and held it toward me. I raised a brow. “You’re not serious.” “Completely.” He teased... “I can feed myself.” I folded my arms dramatically. “I know,” he said calmly. “But I want to.” There it was again. That answer.

He could not put Lorenzo’s work in danger, not after he had done so much to protect it. Kingsley sent a text back, saying he would reach in thirty minutes. It was a surprise that Lorenzo lived only some streets away. Or perhaps not so odd since both chose rich areas to stay. Kingsley chose to take a bath, then put on a gray shirt with buttons and black pants. He stood before the mirror, thinking back to how Cole always fussed about his clothes. Kingsley never bothered with name brands, and in school he came mostly in shirts with band names and loose pants, which made his ex unhappy.

He signs off with his initials JN. Kingsley Void: A wealthy pureblood who is related to royalty. His parents kept him shut in most his life until their last breath. He doesn't get out much and shared letters with Lyle over knowledge he had about the vampire resistance. When he first meets Lyle face to face they're shocked by each other's resemblance, discovering they're twins. He bestows a rare werebear to Lyle as well, he paid 25 grand for her in an auction. This shows he has money to burn for even strangers. He signs letters with KV.
