“Amen! Thanks mom for the prayer.” Just then, Kingsley walked in to the house with his laptop stuck in between his ribs and arm and DI copies of his comics. He had told me that he would be publishing the comic the following week and I knew that it required really tough periods. I had published two of my books so I know the feeling. “Mom, Good day.” He said and was about walking into the room when my mother called him back. “Kingsley, get back here.” He obliged. “Yes ma. Any problem?”

Still, almost nothing is the same as before. I’m a zombie, the living dead, the supreme specious of the planet, and the leader of one of the largest hordes in North America. I’m one of the Zombie Kings. My job is to keep the peace among zombies, keep my horde fed, and hunt humans for sport. I’m the stuff of Lacey’s nightmares now, and yet somehow, I have to rekindle our relationship so that I’m not forced to use her as a breeder.

Most kids get taught all about the kingdom and the kings in school before they are shipped to a pet shop or a blood bank. "No, the ruler of the vampires and shapeshifters are twin kings. Both born hybrid both vampire and wolf. Well technically they arent the kings yet since they havent found their mates yet but they run pretty much everything. We were there for a while as more people were rescued, they gave us food and water, it wasn't edible, but it was enough. After a few hours, Beta Ryder came forward and called for everyone to gather to be addressed by the king. A moment I had been dreadfully looking forward to. If I ever doubted his kingship or the monarchy before, now I don't. His eyes were red with bloodlust, probably from killing all night. I have never seen that shade of red and black in a pair of eyes before. He didn't need to try before his aura had us all bowing. For some reason, he seemed awfully familiar.
