The woman’s words had cut through Kira’s heart like a sharpened sword. Kira had burst into a scream, it sounded like the wailing of a siren. At that moment, Kira couldn't recognize herself anymore. She turned the whole room upside down out of annoyance and frustration. She had felt like unleashing her pains and agony on someone and something and that moment was a perfect time. It was noon, and Tess wasn't home if not she would have held her back. She had the whole room to herself. It felt like there was a coalition in her head that didn't allow her to think straight. All she thought of at the moment was smashing, throwing, and breaking objects and it did help.

PEARL’S POV~ “No!” I heard Kira scream before springing up from the floor where she lay, I ran to her, “Kira hey Kira, it's Pearl! Calm down” I tried to calm her down but I could feel her heart beating out of her chest. “Where the fuck are we?” she asked looking around, she saw the women standing with crutches and some pregnant without an arm, and she screamed again. “Oh my God, it's real! We are on the cannibal’s island aren't we, oh God im going to die here, my mother doesn't know where I am!” she exclaimed as tears ran down her face.

She faced Kira again, blood trickling from her mouth as she forced herself upright. Without giving Tahila a moment's respite, Kira charged forward again, closing the distance between them in seconds. Tahila attempted to raise her guard, but Kira was too fast. Kira ran toward Tahila and executed a backflip, her leg sweeping through the air in a powerful arch as her foot connected squarely with Tahila's jaw. Crack! The kick was brutal and Tahila's head snapped back as Kira landed with one knee on the ground and one hand braced on the dirt.

the man shouted furiously at her. She saw the intense fire of anger in Ryan's eyes at that moment. But Miriam still could not understand he even has to include their kids? “And what have your children got to do with it? My god Ryan, Kyrie, and Kyla are your own blood and flesh! The company… we’ve been declared bankrupt.” Kira froze. Her eyes widened in disbelief, her entire body going cold. “No… no… no!” she whispered, shaking her head violently. Her phone slipped from her hand and clattered onto the floor. Her chest tightened, her vision blurred. “Bankrupt…” she whispered again, her voice hollow. Kira’s body collapsed to the floor of the boardroom, unconscious.

Leah's hands uncrumpled the hem of her dress and released a breath as if she was shouting after me for a very long time.

Kira’s POV “I have to tell you something” I said to Christine, but didn’t realize I was yelling. She almost choked on the cigarette between her lips. “What the fuck Kira” she frowned at me, but I didn’t care. I was desperate at that point. “I need to tell you something” I repeated like she hadn’t heard me the first time. How desperate was I. but why I wouldn’t when I got the news of me leaving this body? I needed to let her know incise me bumped into her in my next life, she wouldn’t see me as a freak.

My tongue felt like it was too heavy to say anything else, but I needed to know what he was talking about. “Um, you have to calm down, Alpha. Yes, Kira is fine. She's conscious now, but she needs rest, and comfort presently more than ever,” The doctor explained, making me nod in agreement. She had lost too much blood. “But what's the bad news?” I asked again, making the doctor sigh. It took a while for him to speak, but I waited. I became calm the instant he said Kira was alright. “If it's about the expenses, don't worry, I'll cover it. Give her whatever would make her feel better, okay?” I spoke innocently when he delayed, making the doctor draw in a long breath.

The connection between them and their master was severing. Kira’s eyes, glowing faintly, softened just for a moment as she glanced at the fallen creatures. She murmured something under her breath—perhaps a prayer, or maybe a curse—but I couldn’t hear it. Then, with a sharp squeeze, she crushed the heart in her palm. The beasts roared weakly one last time before slumping into lifeless heaps. The air grew still, the battlefield eerily silent except for the groaning of my men.
