Kissing Danger
Suddenly all the desire to sleep has seeped out of me and into a puddle at my feet, something about Stace visiting my cabin at night by himself stealing away any fatigue.
"Everything okay?" I ask warily, leaning back against the cool wood of the door. I can't tell if my stomach is twisting because of the gentle sway that accompanies the train ride, or because I'm nervous to be facing him.
"Last night, before...when we were in bed together," his back is to me, as he looks across my room, at the bed I just crawled from, "you looked at me as though you were considering letting me kiss you. I can't get it out of my head.
