I just smiled half-heartedly, trying to keep myself amused even though I wasn’t really feeling it. Nathaniel made a suggestion. “How about a kissing booth? But with a little twist.” That caught everyone’s attention. “What kind of twist?” I asked, already intrigued by the idea. “Instead of a regular booth, we call up girls, and guys bid on them. Highest bidder gets the kiss in a private box for sixty seconds.” Everyone looked interested by his idea and some nodded, liking the idea. “That could actually work,” Craig said. “If we pick the right girls, the bids will go crazy.”

It was now nothing but lust in the atmosphere as we both got horny, while entangled in this kissing contest. And in just minutes after the whistle was blown off, the smell of blood and desperation permitted the air.

A few of them looked at me quickly, then looked away like I had done something embarrassing. Okay that was weird. “Did I miss something?” I asked again. Before anyone could answer, someone walked up to me. It was Alex. One of my friends from the LGBTQ group at school. Alex crossed their arms and looked at me carefully. “You seriously don’t know?” they asked. Then, the females would be going to the booth one after the other, with their eyes covered too. The kiss is to last for a minute. After that, the males are to guess who they kissed. This challenge is purely for fun, no prize attached." He stated firmly.

Melanie mirrored my actions, pulling out her phone. Awkwardly, we came to stand even closer to each other. As our tights were pressed, I could feel her warmth reaching my skin through our clothes. My heart was pounding in my chest faster than the beat of the song we were listening to. It wasn’t my first kiss, but it was my first with the same sex.
