Not so cliche...

Not so cliche...

*Kritika Pov* “Hey Kritika!” I heard someone shouting and I turned to see it is Kiran. “Do you have any doubts Kiran?” I asked him smiling. “Yeah! I am not getting this drawing correctly. Can you help me again?” He asked pleadingly. I laughed and said “Sure!” We sat in the ground and I started explaining him the drawing. I am not that good but I am not worse for sure. I asked Akhila Di for help and she explained everything to me. Now I am great to give my exams in this with no mistakes.

Chasing Kitsune

Chasing Kitsune

he nodded, offering me the folder. I smiled. Of course, Darius boasts about his brother. I truly love that about these boys. They are always supportive of each other and our granddaughter. The four of them are a great balance to each other. I opened the folder and nod with a smile as I looked at the manga-style drawings. It was apparently me, in my youth, wearing my black jumpsuit with red trim and my face hidden behind the white and red kitsune mask in some panels. It was beautiful even though it showed a story of blood and darkness.

Once you start, u won't be able to put this down!!! I sure couldn't. Great story, characters are amazing, especially the FL is going to blow your mind with her personality! There's no way to go wrong with Bryant's books!! Her writing is truly captivating, her characters are believable. Enjoy!)

This is probably one of my favorites from the author. It was well written and puts an interesting spin on Girl Power. I loved how Yuri was just risqué enough to keep me hooked. Yuri/Kitsune are the bada$$ I wish I could be. Hibiki is the perfect pairing for her, complementing not overshadowing her.

my Billionaire’s baby

my Billionaire’s baby

“This was from a free-draw session last week. The prompt was ‘My Family at Home.’” I looked down. Katie had drawn our mansion with meticulous detail. There she was, a stick figure with a yellow dress in the center. To her left, a tall stick figure labeled ‘Daddy’ stood at a big box labeled ‘Office.’ Lines came out of the box, like rays. To her right, a smaller stick figure labeled ‘Mommy’ stood at a box labeled ‘Bakery.’ Similar rays. The three figures were connected by dotted lines, not solid ones. In the corner, she’d drawn a small, smiling sun. But between the ‘Office’ and the ‘Bakery,’ she’d drawn a thick, black, scribbled wall.

that his happiness grows somewhere beyond the solar system. Well, Kit woke up, sat on his hips and runs her finger over the drawings on his stomach. The body shudders and responds instantly. “Kitsune, what are you doing… we will never get up like this” he catches her hands and presses them to his chest. - There will be another. “Already… Keith…”

Mr. CEO, Your Abandoned Wife Has Powerful Brothers

Mr. CEO, Your Abandoned Wife Has Powerful Brothers

There were several crayons scattered there and a piece of paper. I stood and approached it. On the table was the paper Kirana had shown me a week ago. The white paper was full of crayon scribbles. A drawing of a small girl with a pink dress and a ribbon in her hair. Next to her, an adult male figure with a black suit. Only two people. No mother. Below it, small handwriting that was still messy: Kirana loves Dad. My hand trembled as I picked up the drawing. My chest felt tight like being crushed by a giant stone.

Married To My Enemy

Married To My Enemy

Inside the office, Mrs kate took out a report and gave it to her. "Go through it", Mrs kate said giving the record to Scarlet. Scarlet was confounded, opened the report, and was paralyzed. International Design Institute Exchange. The student agreement report. She raised her eyes, Mrs kate grinned and took out another duplicate, which was a piece of drawing paper. The above are two llama riding that she painted without anyone else, which are sweethearts. Around then, she appeared to have watched a film or something, and unexpectedly she felt it and drew it down, and she didn't mind excessively.

MINE TO OWN

MINE TO OWN

It felt like standing on opposite sides of a frozen lake, waiting to see who would break the surface first. In the west wing, Joana poured tea with one hand and sketched with the other. A charcoal outline of Zane, bare-chested, fierce, expression unreadable. The drawing took form eventually in long, dragging strokes. “You’re getting too close,” a voice murmured. She didn’t flinch. Katherina leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, eyes towards the drawing. “Am I?” Joana replied, unbothered. “Or is everyone else afraid of how close he already is?”

Beyond A Substitute

Beyond A Substitute

“I learned in an Art school. Nothing serious. But… this reminds me of something. Or someone.” When the session ended, the facilitator smiled. “You can take your art with you, or hang it in your cabin if you like. Let it remind you of how you saw the world today.” Katherine stood and stretched, brushing bits of grass from her knees. Carolina was still signing her masterpiece in huge letters like a six-year-old with a crush. Across the way, Kingsley walked up to Katherine, sketchpad in hand. “Hey,” he said softly. “Hey.” He held out his drawing to her. “I drew this butterfly. Thought about you the whole time.”

I truly enjoyed this novel, the characters were realistic and genuine. The way you incorporated the characters story and the way you used the dialogue with the growth of each character through the recovery ...️‍🩹 was amazing. Would like to read more from you author!

Enjoying the book so far. I’m still new to the book. I feel that they both got what they needed in the beginning. He was hurting and found a safe place in Katherine. She lost herself in him. I can’t wait to see what happens next

He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

Julian sat beside me, looking out as the city blurred past the glass once we began to move. For a while, we did not speak. The rhythm of the train was steady, almost like breathing. I reached into my bag and pulled out my sketchbook. The pencil felt comfortable in my hand, even though it had been days since I last used it. I began with the simplest shapes from the patterns in my mind — arcs, lines, small clusters of curves that hinted at the Kyoto dye work without copying it exactly. Julian glanced over. “You are already changing it.” I smiled without looking up. “I am letting it become what it wants to be.”

The Master's Child

The Master's Child

She leans in close, watching intently. James draws horizontals connecting the radiating lines, then verticals from those. Working quickly and easily, he draws with swift economical strokes, and before our eyes, a pale ghost of Kirstie and Ryan's mill appears in outline: first walls, then roof, then lightly marked windows and doors. Beside the building, he traces a series of sinuous lines, apparently crude, but nonetheless, they convey a river running by. He has talent... Or, more likely, training and learned skill...

Frequently Asked Questions

Drawing a 'Mortal Kombat' character is all about capturing that gritty, hyper-detailed aesthetic the series is famous for. Let's take Scorpion as an example—his iconic yellow ninja garb and flaming skull are instantly recognizable. Start with a rough sketch of his pose, maybe mid-spear throw or crouched for a fight stance. Use sharp, angular lines to emphasize the aggressive style. His mask should have those distinct wrinkles and folds, and don't forget the kunai on his belt! For shading, go heavy on the contrasts to match the game's dark tone. I like using cross-hatching to add texture to his outfit, especially the chain wrapped around his arms.

When it comes to the flaming skull, layer warm yellows and oranges, leaving the brightest highlights for the center of the flames. If you're working digitally, a soft brush with low opacity can blend the colors smoothly. Traditional artists might try blending markers or colored pencils. Finish with a dramatic background—maybe the Pit stage with its infamous spike floor—to really tie it all together. Honestly, the key is to embrace the brutality; these characters aren't meant to look pretty, they're meant to look like they're ready to rip someone's spine out.
