Kiss and tell
I raised my palms and felt like I had spoken a little louder.
The professor must have heard me because she stopped talking and her crystal blue eyes found me. She made a few steps towards our desk, her back slightly bent, showing the weight of her old age. When her pale, wrinkled lips moved, she pointed her bony finger at me and gave a faint smile.
“That is quite correct, miss Keller. Leave the chit-chats for after class. Steven King is not someone you want to miss. It might hunt you later if you do.” Professor Miller joked, removing my sheepish mood instantly.
