He threw them on my face and gestured me to pick them up. I glared at him, refusing to listen. "Come on, pick them up" he ordered like he was talking to a pet dog. When I didn't listen he crouched down to my level and picked them up himself. "Do you know what it is? It's our marriage contract, read it!" He threw them on my face again. "I said fucking read it!" He yelled loudly. "Don't make me do something, you'll regret afterward, read it, I'll beat you if I have to" he threatened. I picked them up with trembling hands and blurry vision. I saw my signature at the bottom of the page, my breath seized as I stared at it. "Read it!" He ordered, standing tall before me. 1. I will not work. 2. I will respect my in-laws. 3. I will do whatever my husband tells me to. 4. I will take care of my husband as an obedient wife whether I am treated like a wife or not. 5. I will bear children for my husband, I won't have any parental rights over them. My husband will have their sole custody. 6. Finally, I will be ready to go to bed with my husband at his wish whether I like it or not. A single tear fell on the page followed by many others. He snatched the contract back from me. "Now you understand your place?" He asked menacingly.

And not once in seventy years was the woman wrong, and this year she had planned to the same thing she did for the previous alpha, and find Aiden the woman who will compliment him and help rule the pack beside him not forgetting that the woman would prove to be fertile and able to give the pack their next Alpha to rule after Aiden. This year was not different, tradition would be followed, and the pack house was getting ready to welcome the five chosen, and let the Alpha's first mating resume.

Confused, shocked and petrified Eva asked that man why he wanted to kill her. She didn't even know him."W-why d-do you want to k-kill me? I d-don't even know you." Mate is someone every werewolf waits for earnestly. Mate is someone every werewolf can die for. But things were different for them. He hated her mate and was trying to kill her. What the reason was? " You'll have to warm my bed every single night, you will always be available for me. And during this period you will not come in contact with any men- " Mr. Noah puts out his conditions, his voice emitting authority. Make coffee, fetch me lunch, mop the floors if I say so and much more." He states. " And one more thing waitress, I hate disobedience and disrespect. Make sure you have no trace of that when appearing in front of me or else I'll make you hate your existence." He threatens, who does he think of himself to be, God? I just nod to his unfair demands, bowing my head down. This is more like slavery. But what other choice do I have?
