The room she stepped into was dimly lit with only candles lighting the walls and on every shelf. Haneul had never seen anything like it before. It felt weird, but she didn't really care. She continued walking towards the back where she saw shelves filled with many books. There wasn't just some books here, there were tons, most of which were written in Korean, "Why I didn't save it before?" She thought as she began scanning all the titles. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Haneul flinched a little because of the sudden voice. She immediately turned around. "I SAID WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Jun-Sang growled one more causing her heart pounding. "I-"

He smirked and looking at his arrogant smirk all my thoughts turned into disgust. “Why did you call me here?”, I asked. He went towards a table and picked up 7 books and handed them to me. I looked at him all confused. “Now that you are my healer you will be going with me into a new era tomorrow. That will be your first era. These are the books of that era, and you must finish reading them all by tonight.”, he said. I looked at the book and it said, ‘Joseon period’. We are going to ancient Korea. Thinking about it made me feel happy. I always liked reading about the history of Korea.

There is nothing inside” she reacted when she saw the content of the book. “It’s just a sample handbound of my story. Besides, where are calculating how we can put all of it in just one book. Look at it, it’s thick because it has 500+ pages” I explained to her. “So don’t expect that it has contents now because it’s just a sample” I added.

Whatever the case may be, there was only one way to find out. I grabbed my phone and dialed Ginny's number. She answered on the first ring. "Hey, Keera. What's up?" Her voice was light but curious. I picked up the book again, inspecting the worn out pages under the lamp resting on my nightstand. If Ginny heard my aggressive flipping, she didn't comment on it. "Keera?" She called out warily when I had been quiet for too long. I had flipped to the last page. No other page had been torn. Just the page that according to the book's table of contents was under the section labeled portions.

I had just finished journal 3 when I stopped. “What am I doing?” I whispered and dropped the journal, “No, no, no. Please no. Stop.” I dropped to my knees and started to collect all the pages. In a frantic hurry, I picked up each page as if they were about to fade away. Pages had landed everywhere. On the bed, behind the cupboard, under the tables, even in the bathroom. I picked up 575 pages. Each journal was a book of 192 pages… which meant one page was missing.
