Clarence’s POV. I re-watched the press conference from my office. The screen was muted, but I didn’t need the sound. I had already memorized the shape of her words, the way her eyes stayed downcast, the slight pauses that made it all feel rehearsed. Kristina was good at playing the part, I’ll give her that. Almost convincing. Almost. She sat in front of a plain background, no makeup, no entourage, looking like someone who had just woken up from a long nightmare.

She never heard such a deep tone before holding so much power and domination. It was probably the most deepest voice she ever heard in her entire life. Kristen helped Killian up and then tried each single one of the bunch of keys in his hand before finally getting the one that could turn open the door. Still holding Killian with the help of Amanda, Kristen made an odd request, "Amanda, can you try your cloaking power at least so we can leave here without being discovered."

Kristen said, looking deep at him “then why give me this power in the first place?” Mr Creed looked at her in silence, unable to respond. He slowly shook his head without without showing any expression. “I’ll take my leave then,” Kristen said softly. She bowed her head slightly and walked toward the house. As she disappeared through the doorway, Mr Creed smirked to himself. “This is indeed Amara’s child,” he muttered with a chuckle then laughed again, louder this time, before heading back to his car and driving off quickly. Inside, Naomi met Kristen just as she entered the hallway. Kristen handed her a small note silently and continued upstairs.
