There was a brief silence on the other end, which made Summer's heart ache. Kristen looked so cold and detached on the surface, as if there was nothing that mattered to her. But Summer knew Kristen was the kindest person ever. Kristen never wanted to trouble others and never wanted to be a burden. If she could sacrifice herself to stop others from suffering, she would always choose to do so.
