Jason ordered and Anna nodded, he looked at Jack whose sled where on their right "you guys need to lean right." "I got it" Jack shouted back. "Please hold Anna will you Sarah?" Jason pleaded. "Sure" Sarah agreed and wound her hands on Anna's waist, hugging her tight. "Ready?" Jason shouted for both team and they all nodded "now." They leaned left and Jack and his team leaned right, they avoided the cliff and the avalanche fell down the cliff. They was a log in front of them and they hit it to stop the sled. They jumped out of it then laughing like crazy. Jack and his team had turned with force causing their sled to tumble, thankfully, they came out unscathed.

In the center of the slope is a frozen stream – smooth, bright, and completely unavoidable. Leo slows. “We’ll have to slide. Try to stay on your feet.” Cris snorts. “Try? I barely stayed upright when I wasn’t injured.” Leo steps onto the ice first, gliding forward with the uneasy grace of someone pretending they know what they’re doing. Cris follows, boots skittering wildly. He flails. Leo catches his arm. “Hey! Eyes on me.” Cris meets his gaze. The world stops slipping. For a second.

His eyes are wild and scared. “RUN!” he’s yelling. “THEY KNOW!” “What?” Hendrik splutters, trying to catch Kristoff as he speeds past us and the people behind us. “Kristoff—” “RUN!” he’s still yelling. Hendrik and I exchange glances. He turns to the people to tell them to leave, but then someone else speaks from the dark.

It was a vial containing brown liquid. When I recognized it as concentrated sulfuric acid, I froze. He laughed maniacally, unsealed the bottle, and threw its contents at me. Everything happened in the blink of an eye. The crowd screamed in horror. Knowing it was impossible to escape, I closed my eyes, waiting for my impending doom. However, pain didn't come as expected. A person shielded me without hesitation, letting the acid land on her back. The highly corrosive liquid melted her clothes, then her flesh. A sharp, scorched smell filled the air.

I type a message. Me: Professor will drive me home because it is snowing. His response came right away. Kristoff: Thank God, because I’m stuck here. I was about to text him to tell him to do that. Me: Are you still coming over? Kristoff: Yes, but I’ll be late. The guys are still figuring out the final part of our new piece. Me: Okay. Tell me when it’s over. Kristoff: Alright, babe.
