I said with a smirk, as I was glad that I had not forgotten about his age. … Joseph's pov, It took a while, but Aunt Jane and Uncle Gael returned to the living room. I had watched an entire Kung Fu Panda cartoon before they finally decided to show up. Even my stomach has been growling. The servers had not shown up, and I had been tempted to go to the fridge, open it, and eat whatever I set my eyes on. Luckily, they had returned to the living room and could notify the servers to come and serve food. But, were my eyes deceiving me?

I held Violet’s waist with one hand and the other held Vince's left leg to my chest as we all climbed the stairs leading to the master bedroom. Violet led us into the master bedroom and Vince wasted no time hopping from my shoulders and onto the big bed. “Kung fu panda!” He yelled like we needed hearing aids to hear him over the silence in the room. I looked to Violet confused. “ What’s that?” I whispered, scared the boy might hear me and do God knows what because I dared to be unaware of this movie. She chuckled and I wished I hadn’t agreed to this. “ It’s a cartoon, animation, whatever, it’s funny.” She explained,“ You’d like it.” She added at the look of horror that I was sure was evident

A big panda sat there, chewing bamboo, sitting on top of Stanley and staring at me. The group chat lit up. Po the Panda: [Miss Fruit is safe. The bad humans have been taken care of.] Ellie the Elephant: [Amazing. It’s Kung Fu Panda! We’re saved!]

He looked back, smirking like he knew exactly what was happening. “It’s the right thing to do, you know. He tipped you well.” “I’m just thanking him,” I muttered. I wasn’t dressed for a dance, long tight jeans, a vintage blouse, my bag over my shoulder. No glitter. No legs. No cleavage. Just… me. When I reached for the mask and slipped it on, Dante blinked like he couldn’t believe it. “You’re going like that?” “Yes,” I said. “I’m not dancing and I’m not staying. I’m just thanking him.”

“I don’t like the idea as much as you do but it’s better than them using karate moves they have watched from Kung-Fu Panda.” My eyebrow rose. “Of all the kung-fu movies you choose Kung-Fu Panda?” “What? I don’t really watch any other kung-fu movies. You got the idea.” “Yeah, the idea that your movie knowledge needs to be expanded. Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Donny Yen, are just scratching the surface of kung-fu movie masters.” Sam shook his head. “Anyways.” We both looked up as a car pulled into the driveway. Looking at the clock, it was already three p.m. Meredith got to the door and opened it. Charles walked in and I saw Sam stand up straight. Charles nodded to Meredith before heading into the ki

I found an action movie and pressed play, most of their fighting moves are so unrealistic but then again it's just a movie so it's obviously gonna be unrealistic. Although the movie was very interesting. I sat there staring at the television without even noticing that Leornado approached me with two bowls of soup. He sat down quietly next to me and handed me my bowl. The aroma of the soup hit me and I took a deep breath enjoying the lovely scent. The soup had dumplings, carrots, pumpkin, green plantain, and smoked chicken which all smelt lovely and looked scrumptious.

The drive through the town managed to bring back my happy mood as I excitedly marveled at all the holiday decorations. "Remind me to get sunglasses if I don't want to get blinded by all the holiday lights here," He grumbled. "Sure, I'd put that in my notes app next to the note about you getting a personality transplant," I said sweetly. "Add another note for me to get a six pack of beer. Cause I'm going to have to stay drunk for the next fifteen days to survive this." I nodded in agreement, "perfect, cause I'll need you to be passed out in the pool house to be able to get through the next few days. Your obvious alcohol problem would make the perfect explanation for our eventual divorce."

Azariah came back and sat on the couch adjacent to me which was close enough since the chairs were just little red couches placed at ninety degrees of each other forming two baseless triangles surrounding the center table. "Are you superhuman??" I asked Lara as she brought the next batch of snacks which I didn't even know that they were but they smelt so good and I could perceive a little bit of curry and scent leaf. It was definitely dumplings by the looks because I recognized the same physical qualities from kung fu panda, Po was literally obsessed with this stuff and his father's noodles. "I mean, I run my own mini company and help manage a billionaire while being a single mother so..." S
