I was so embarrassed that I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me in. I looked down and didn’t dare to look up again at him as I furiously note down my points. It was the knock on the door that made the embarrassing atmosphere a little lighter for me. “Sir may I come in?” Helga, his secretary, voice rang. “Come in Ms. Helga.” He spoke straightening back a little. “Sir your coffee. Miss yours..” she placed the cup down on the table. “Thanks..” I said to her but she rolled her eyes and looked straight back at her Boss. I ignored her and picked up the steaming hot cup of coffee to take a sip. At least it wasn’t as bad as her behaviour.

Pulling my gaze from the window, I turned to face the people as they made their way in. I sat to the far left of my father, Alpha Eduard Biscoff of the Clear Mountain pack.
