The other warriors at the barracks that were training there stared at him with fearful eyes because he looked deadly. The trainees have noticed the change in him. Over the past few months, he has been more ruthless and menacing. Even the slightest of things would tick him off and he'll burst like a volcano. The trainees were terrified to even spar with him because the last time he was barbaric, Rasmus had to step in to stop him. Hunter vent out his wrath on the punching bag but the poor thing couldn't absorb his rage, with a solid punch the chains snapped and the punching bag fell a few feet away from him as only the dangling chain remained.

The Riders were legends in between half myth, half nightmare. The lead bike stopped a few feet away. Its rider swung a boot to the ground, pulling off his helmet. Dark hair spilled free. I scolded myself in my mind and focused on race. THIRD PERSON'S POV Everyone in the stadium was eagerly waiting for the one rider to show up. Next moment a black Yamaha R1 entered the stadium with Roar. Everyone started to shout in excitement, watching the person get into the line of racing. The person who was riding Yamaha R1 was dressed in black outfit and black helmet, no one ever saw the rider's face. Aaron was sitting in the stadium looking at the Yamaha R1 rider, he was feeling familiar with the rider. “Let's see who wins today?” his mother said. Aaron laughed and nodded.

Wolves were quiet creatures, which was nice at times. I took a deep breath and watched rider after rider go before me. Soon it was down to the last five and I was one of them. I looked up at the scoreboard and saw that there were some really good scores that were going to be hard to beat but not completely impossible. When my bull, Armor, was loaded up into the chute, I sighed in frustration when I saw him. This was going to be tough. He was a dark gray Brahma bull with three-inch horns. Brahma’s were mean bulls and if my head hit the hump on his back, even with a helmet on, it would knock my ass out. I needed to be smart with this ride. My movements needed to be perfect out there.

Madam Amelia seemed to know this as she nodded her head at me. “Now what? You can’t break your vow. What will you do? You can’t have a Wolf Rider running around Astoria.” There it was. She knew what her daughter was. The half human part of it was the least of it. The fact that she was a Rider—a creature that could control a werewolf with a simple command. A creature that ruined my family's life. A creature, who must be destroyed before it gains power. There hasn't been a rider born in half a century, and even before, there was only one that ruled Astoria.

He demanded before turning his head back to face the chalkboard. Amy and Axel immediately found a seat in different rows in the room, and I was left standing there alone. I scanned the room for a vacant seat, only to regret it after as there was only one seat I could sit on. The one right in front of that dickhead we were just talking about. My mom and Oakley’s mom’s are sitting on the couch, drinking some cocktail Oakley made them. Mom’s boyfriend left a bit ago. He’s pretty cool, and nothing like our father. He loves Oakley, and he doesn’t say anything gross or homophobic. I wish he was the dad Reed grew up with. Then all this shit in his head wouldn’t be there. I sit on the floor, and Hunter wobbles his way over to me. He has dark hair, and gray eyes. He’s a perfect mixture of Oakley and I. He grins, and steps into my lap babbling away. I hold him, kissing his chubby cheeks.
