The only thing on his mind was to win this battle and gain control of as many packs as possible. He was all alone when he began fighting at the age of 13, and now he commands a large number of packs. He is now unstoppable, and he will breathe a sigh of relief only when he achieves his life's purpose which is to rule this world and be superior and powerful to all. When he killed every single warrior of the Firecrest pack, he was on Cloud nine. At that time, firecrest was the most powerful pack and after defeating it, he considered himself invincible.

The crowd gasps at the sight of the king’s carriage in the middle. “I’ve never seen the king. He hasn’t been out of the palace grounds for decades, has he?” Sage sounds surprised. Ten gargoyles are drawing the armored carriage with flattering crimson flags: a skeletal black wing on the red background. The carriage returns after the king has exited; he takes the center-most throne-like chair. “He looks like he is in his late-forties,” exclaims Fia. “He is over four thousand years old, or so. He is older than the one before him. That’s what I heard,” answers Sage.

He said looking at Kolby with so much love and devotion. “Dude, you’re our brother of course, you can join our pack.” Connor and Dakota said in turns. Karson stared at Hunter. “Hunter if I may,” Hunter nodded for him to continue, “how old are you? You said you left home at twenty, Connor is twenty-one.”

It was required of all future Kings to learn at a younger age since a Dragon King could die at any given time. My father became King when he was only ten years old, I became King shortly after I turned eighteen. His father had become King only a few days after he been born. While technically my grandfather had been too young, someone had stepped in to take the role of King at four years old. Dragons matured faster, so it wasn’t unheard of for a child to run a Kingdom. Unlike humans, Dragon Shifters could talk and walk within the first month after birth. Our brains develop quickly, so we never truly get to have the kind of childhood that humans get.
