Killing Game Quarter

Killing Game Quarter

“Are you saying that she… sacrificed herself to let us progress?” Urkstin questioned, seeming to get increasingly upset at the idea. Personally I was feeling the same way, but for a much different reason. “That… would explain why the handwriting does not match.” Liam responded, solemnly. Everyone seemed to be getting on board with the idea, which just infuriated me more, to the point where I couldn’t hold back. “But that doesn’t explain the notes themselves!” I suddenly exclaimed, getting everyone’s attention, “If she was just killin’ herself to let us get out, then why would she write those notes?”

Rejected by my mate, Claimed by Alpha Ryder

Rejected by my mate, Claimed by Alpha Ryder

I crossed the room in three strides and snatched it up. Big, angry red letters stared back at me. “Hey new Luna welcome to hell and get ready to die like the previous Luna.” My stomach dropped. I knew that handwriting. The same jagged strokes. The same red ink. It was identical to the note they’d left pinned to my first mate’s body two years ago, the one I’d found hanging from the pack gates like a broken doll. My hand tightened around the paper until it crumpled. I looked around the room wildly, the window was closed, curtains still. The door had been locked when the maid came in. No broken glass or forced entry.

Lennon said. They were in the car. Evelyn was driving. Roman was in the passenger seat. Lennon and Damien were in the back. Damien gave him the note. Lennon read it. He held it for a moment. "This is not over. You have not won anything." He folded it. He handed it back. "Who." "Roman traced the handwriting style…the phrasing specifically," Damien said. "It matches the language of the second PI's original message. Hartley Solutions, the dissolved firm." He paused. "Someone who was paid and did not receive what they were promised."

FALLING FOR THE ROGUE ALPHA

FALLING FOR THE ROGUE ALPHA

He asked, showing me an empty piece of paper I just shrugged "Despite it being in the well for three months, it wasn't wet." "Well this is a Hydronote Blank Copy Paper, it doesn't get wet." He said. "And then, she used a text called Steganography to write on it, that's why you can't see what she wrote." "Lucy is the murderer." He said as I shuddered.

Well, she put all her anger in that single punch anyways. Mrs. Kim gave Patrice two thumbs up and smiled authentically. *I chose the right tutor.* She thought. *Good luck to you, Son.* She thought as she eyed L. Patrice looked at L rolling on the floor. Like the first time she kicked her balls. She looked at him with a satisfied look. *Well, counting to 10 helps too.* She thought to himself and smirked. “Death note.” She mumbled. L looked at her with a menacing look. “How about receiving a real death note?!” He yelled at her. But Patrice didn’t even flinch.

We worked in close proximity, heads bent together over the document as he pointed out subtle inconsistencies in the handwriting. "Look at the pressure patterns," he explained, tracing certain letters. "The person who wrote this is right-handed, pressing harder on the downstrokes. But according to Marcus's staff records, Lydia was left-handed."

" She smirked. Vivian looked at it with surprise. Her eyes were about to pop out. In cursive, old calligraphy, it read ×××××××××××××××××××××××××× 《E T H A N E V A G A N Z A 》:《29》 《T O K Y O: J A P A N》 《C A U S E O F D E A T H 》 ○ WINTER ANGEL OF DEATH ○ ××××××××××××××××××××××××××

BENEATH THE SAME SKY

BENEATH THE SAME SKY

I took the letter from Lina’s hand, holding it carefully as if it were made of fragile glass. The paper felt thick and expensive, and the handwriting was indeed elegant, with sweeping curves and loops, but there was a noticeable tremor in the strokes. It was the writing of someone elderly, whose hands were no longer as steady as they once were.

The Captive Luna: A Potion of Oblivion

The Captive Luna: A Potion of Oblivion

Lyra murmured, “It’s Luna Donna’s handwriting…” Eyes reddened all around from emotion. Lyra bowed her head and carefully flipped through the aged parchment. Some of the ink had blurred, the page edges frayed, yet the familiar looping script remained, the handwriting of Luna Donna, the woman who laid the foundation of the Ivyshade pack.

I sighed before finally reaching for the envelope. My fingers paused the second I recognized the handwriting. I unfolded the card slowly, my stomach tightening with every breath I took. “Even the sky would not be able to contain your shine. — L. Dhark” Silence. Then Daniel blinked. “Oh.” Someone coughed awkwardly nearby. Another associate suddenly became deeply interested in their phone. I was glad he at least pretended not to pay attention. I stared at the note too long. Of course it was from Lucian. Of course.

Author I'm really enjoying your story. I apologize for my bluntness with the reader who uses letters instead of actual words but I'm 'old school' where you say it up front and don't beat around the bush. I believe not using words but a bunch of nonsensical letters is rude and insulting !
