As i headed up to my room, I once again, found Amanda in my room. "What do you want Luna?" "I believe you have heard I'm pregnant with the Alpha's child. I want you stay away from him. He already has a luna and child. He doesn't need you." "What makes you think he needs me?" She was taken aback by my words. "And Luna, may I know when was your luna ceremony?" I questioned. She took a step back. "A year ago." She mumbled. "I see." I lowered down my head. She flipped her hair and walked out.

They looked happy as though they had hit the jackpot. I ignored them and placed my hand under my chin. "Well, we called for this meeting concerning the Luna celebration arrangement," "As we all know, Jessica was the winner of the contest which means she would be your Luna," he said, and I scoffed inwardly. "Yes, she won. So why am I here?" I asked in a cold tone, uninterested in their conversation. "You're here because we want you to pick a date to mark Jessica as the Luna of the pack," one of them said, and I clenched my fist angrily.

But all she saw was sincerity and kindness, and a part of her wanted desperately to believe that this woman was telling the truth. "Where is this place exactly?" Luna asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Lisa hesitated for a moment before replying, her gaze flickering with uncertainty. "We're on a remote island," she explained. "It's isolated and difficult to reach, which is why your captors chose it as their hideout." Luna's heart sank at Lisa's words, the realization sinking in that she was far from civilization and completely at the mercy of her captors. But even as fear threatened to overwhelm her, she forced herself to remain calm, determined to find a way out of this nightmare.

After breakfast, she informed me, “You will be having your meals in the dining hall with your husband from now on.” I stared at her in shock. She smiled brightly at me, but I only frowned. Alpha Damon had given strict orders about how I was to be treated, so what had suddenly changed? I narrowed my eyes. Christina must have guessed what I was thinking because she hurriedly explained, “My Lady, the Moon Goddess has finally smiled upon you. Alpha Damon has changed his mind. He has decided to complete the traditional rites and name you the Luna of the pack.” She clearly expected me to be pleased, but my blank expression and tightly pressed lips only seemed to confuse her.

With a sky full of stars and a gusty sea breeze, it was incredibly relaxing. Julio had been peeling shrimp for Aurora. “Rory, please vote for me for tonight's heartthrob, I'm dying to see what Angel Island looks like?" Aurora was indifferent: "You wish.” Luna’s mouth was stuffed, "Angel Island has a big villa, the environment is really good, but the food over there is almost basic, it’s not as good as Mr. Dumont’s cooking." Gia was peeking at Damon the entire time.

Just as I’m about to say something, argue that I wasn’t that good of a girl, Laura comes back into the room, this time with a line of crew members and cameras behind her. She grins at us once we’re looking back at her, clapping her hands. “Alright guys, who’s ready to film Luna’s choice?!”

She leaned down slightly, her eyes locking onto mine with a warning glare. "But do not get too excited about all of this luxury. Do not let this private island, the private jets, and my son's temporary affection cloud your little human mind." I didn't flinch. I kept my chin held high, staring right back at her through the glass. "I am reminding you right now," the Luna continued, her chest rising as she delivered her terms.

"Lunara Springs. It is a luxury hot spring resort town. The whole area is built around private thermal pools, exclusive suites, the kind of place that feels completely removed from everything." I handed the phone to Mason. He and Jason looked at it together for a moment, and I watched their expressions shift. "This is perfect," Mason said. "More than perfect." Jason handed the phone back to me. "If this is what you want, this is where we are going. We will take care of everything." I smiled. "Everything?" "Every single detail," Mason said. "You just have to show up."

Being a single mother, even with a fairly self-sufficient kid, was not an easy thing, especially when trying to keep up with him on a broken foot. We walked slowly through the elaborate lobby of Island Oasis Resort until we reached the elevator to our rooms. I was on the third floor while she was on the second. There were only thirty rooms in the entire resort, making it small and cozy. The goal of the resort was to not only be an exclusive luxury destination, but also to be one of the most ecologically friendly hotels in the world. It was the newest line from Diamond Hotels, and Island Oasis Resort was to be their flagship hotel.
