La Verne Urgent Care Novels & Stories

Arzhel answered it. “Oh my gosh, Arzhel. What happened? Are you okay? I received a call from someone I know. They told me what happened,” Veronica said without pausing. She sounded so worried and stressed. Arzhel didn’t answer. He wiped his face using his palm. For the first time, he looked so lost. He looked at the entrance of the emergency room. It was almost 30 minutes and the doctor still didn’t come out. “Where are you? I’m going to you right now,” Veronica said.

He was confused on what to do and which would be better. After sometime of deliberating, he came to the conclusion of telling her the truth. "Actually, there's something else.." He began and she turned swiftly as if she has been waiting for him to say something. "Yes, what is it?" "Actually, I got a call from the central hospital saying Vernes was rushed to the hospital earlier. Details about her condition have not been said and they insist I come over" He explained, quietly washing her expression and hoping she doesn't not get upset..

"I'm sorry, Mr. Montclair, but you need to wait here." Vernon clenched his fists. He wanted to argue, to shove past them, but his heart was pounding too loudly. He looked through the small window instead, watching as they hooked her up to wires and IVs. Pressing a trembling hand against the glass, his chest ached with guilt, fury, and fear—emotions he hadn't felt this strongly since the fire. "Come on, Vernice..." He whispered under his breath. "Don't do this to me. Not again, please"

Nadia slid the screen across the table. Caiden picked it up, his jaw tightening as he scanned Leo’s update: > Verne has been located. He never left the city. He’s been hiding out at a boutique hotel in the southern district under an alias. Authorities have been notified and will move to detain him at six a.m. Caiden set the phone down slowly. He looked at the screen, then up at her. Nadia reached across the table and took his hand. Caiden turned his palm over, intertwining his fingers with hers, holding on tightly.

the nurse said, handing him a pen and a form. Swallowing, Vernon sat down in the waiting room and painstakingly filled the necessary columns, blinking back tears. He handed it to the nurse who took it and rushed inside while the omega rocked himself back and forth to calm himself down. The doors of the waiting room burst open and Theodore rushed in. "Where is he?" His gaze fell on the omega. "What happened?" Vernon's body trembled as tears rolled down his cheeks. "I don't know..." He fought back a sob. "There... was blood and—"

Yellow tape cordoned off the area. “Paramedics rushed Madam Laurent to nearby Memorial Hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery for multiple fractures, internal injuries, and a head trauma. Hospital officials describe her condition as stable but critical. The Laurent family has not issued an official statement yet, but this incident has sent ripples through the business community.”

I was ready to repeat my question—louder this time—when I heard my name. "Rali." I spun around and practically hurled myself at Veronica. "H—How's she? Where's she?" Void and dad finally caught up. Veronica sobbed out the explanation: "She's in the theater. They rushed her in for an emergency surgery to try to get the remaining debris out." My stomach pitched. "B—But it can be gotten out right? And she'll be fine?" "I don't know, Rali. She was under it for too long. B—Before help could come she was—"

Don’t worry. Anger flashed in Logan’s grey-blue eyes. Alessia ignored him. She held her sister tightly, whispered soothingly, ‘Don’t cry, we’ll figure this out.’ Veronica wiped away her tears, took a deep breath, and regained her composure. ‘Alright.’ Alessia turned to the detective. ‘Is Veronica under arrest?’ ‘No. Unless the guy decides to sue.’ ‘Then can we leave now?’ ‘Sure.’ Heath looked at Veronica. ‘We’re still waiting to hear from the hospital. I’ll let you know. I’ll need your contact number.’

“Are you sure this is okay? I feel like we should be at a hospital.” Charlotte smiled gently and put her hand on my shoulder. “It's more than okay. Dr. Verner is the best.” She shrugged. “Besides, why go to the hospital if you don't have to? Dr. Verner has all the same equipment.” “But...” I set the cup down in my lap and sighed. It just felt strange, but I supposed medicine could be practiced anywhere. It was just odd to think of her father getting lab work without having to go to the lab. Add on to that, that I was sure we couldn't actually afford Dr. Verner's services. I was fairly certain he wasn't covered on our insurance.

His eyes widened in surprise, and he rushed toward Veronica. “Call the doctor now!” He ordered. “What happened? We called the doctor ten times! I want to make sure that there is a reason why we need to call him!” “She moves her finger. I'm sure of it.” Veron felt the warmness in his heart grow. He held Veronica's hand and gasped when he saw Veronica's lashes move. “Veronica, did you hear me?” Veron bit his lip when Veronica opened her eyes. She seemed confused and kept looking at the white ceiling. She had a wound on her forehead.
